It was a great movie, it goes way beyond what people expect of it in the begin. I hope many people will see this movie, because it gives people a very vlear view that violence and military forces against extraterrestrial beings has to be prevented when it would actually happen.

guess what they were working on a Halo movie, but the director got fired because the studio didn't trust him. Ironically enough, the director who got fired ended up directing the sleeper hit District 9, which was nominated for Best Picture last year. He has said that he will NEVER go back to Halo, and now the studio is looking for a screenwriter to write the script.... They are in the early stages of writing, so it won't be out until 2013 or 2014, but imagine if they didn't fire Neil Blommkamp!!

Wasn't this the movie that was originally going to be the Halo Live-Action? I can't remember but the Live-Action movie was changed to a movie about aliens and I think I can remember somebody saying it was District 9. Either way, this looks good.

Wikus lets the alien and his kid escape back onto their mothership and leave earth. The alien promises wikus that he will be back in 3 years. Wikus doesnt travel with them and at the very end you see that he turned to a 'prawn' completely.

BUT they ran into a virus that killed the leader aliens but the workers where amuned to the virus and all survived. They came to this planet for help but the workers could not do much without direction. Some where smarter than others HENSE the character Christopher, they built weapons only to survive us.
