Today is the year anniversary of my Father's baptism into eternal life. The 15th will be my mom's. @carrievanb1 God is always nearer than you think. He is always there for you. Just don't give up. Never let go. Hold on. Just trust Him when you can't see Him or feel Him. He is your Balm of Gilead, Great Physician, Good Shepherd , Counselor, Comforter, Refuge, Friend, Hope, Joy, Peace, Help, Burden bearer, Anchor. He will give you rest. Just go to Him. Dont be overcome by your circumstances. Lay it at the altar & leave it there. He will see you through. Always look up. Dont let go of His Hand!
This song and message got me through countless nights as I sat beside my father's, mother's, and grandmother's bedside as they were all dying this summer. God continued to sustain me through it all and the message was a constant reminder that He was with me every moment and that my loved ones' suffering would soon end as they would be with their Master soon.
@Herpetology7 " I will lift my eyes", "Disappear", Falling Down",and "Nothing without You" are my personal favorites. These songs are the ones from this wonderful man of God touch my heart the most. Brilliant songwriter and certainly heaven-blessed.
@Herpetology7 Oh, and I almost forgot, one of my all-time Christian music favorites which Bebo wrote for his 2004 album "Try"; titled "Yes I will". He later re-released it on an album made following the film Passion of the Christ, accompanied by Joy Williams.
