I have a friend who shot someone who tried to swing a crowbar at him while trying to steal his car in Vegas. The guy didn't die and my friend wasn't punished or fined in anyway.

Well in My state it is Not Required. But they always Tell us at the hunter safety course that they recommend one just in case. because you never know what kind of law enforcement personnel you might be dealing with. not all cops follow procedure. we all know that. and if you come across a cop like that. having a Permit is Much better then not having a permit in that situation. so even if it isn't required still consider getting one to better protect yourself in Legal matters. that's My advise.

lol Montana is has a proposed bill that would change our CCW law so that if you are eligible for a CCW, you dont need one to carry a concealed weapon. Nifty... as long as you're 18 and not a felon, you're good.

Creg you may want to check on the new law in Arizona regarding exposing your weapon when accosted. I think the law passed that it is OK to expose your weapon to ward off potential threats.

I have a CCW and will renew it even though I don't need it to conceal, but depending on who is in the Governors seat could dictate the repeal on the current law. The return of CCW Class requirement.
