  • Why is every tutorial on TCP/IP like 20 years old?

  • Nice. Very nice! Thanks.

  • great vid!

  • Ah 240p, so we meet again..

  • Pro

  • ummm this isnt quite about TCP/IP is it? Its about subnets and recognising masks associated. TCP/IP tutorial should be about how tcp is connection orientated whilst ip isnt...ect....

  • This is the most amazing explanation of how to do subnets I've ever seen. Thanks so much!

  • Sweet and simple!

  • TOP! em 5 minutos percebi mais de 3 conjuntos de slides de RCOM!

  • Is this a TV program or something??This guy is real good explaining this stuff... :)

  • U R OFFICIALLY MY NETWORKING TEACHER NOW!!! THANKS A BUNCH!!!

  • THANKS!!!!

  • Nice explanation about subnets... but where is TCP/IP?

  • @04ec429 If you have xp Its My network places-view network connections local area connection-properties-Internet protocol (tcp/ip)

  • @HakMart96 Thanks! But I guess I am asking something else.

where is the explanation of TCP/IP in this video?

  • I am taking CISCO at the moment and this is still extremely complicated. Can somebody simplify it or stupify it possibly? If you do can you please message me and send me the video

  • simple and nicely said.

  • 8-bit system = 0-255

  • @Jmat3d because dont forget that 0 is counted too. 0 through 255 is 256 numbers.

  • very poor picture

  • I feel breathless for some reason...

  • Isn't this subnetting? How does this have anything to do with TCP/IP?

  • thanks...nice and easy......cheers

  • Very excellent!

  • ok.

  • Damnnnn, this would have saved me a lot of time on my ccna exam... Passed anyway but this would have been nice.....

  • whoa!! nice!!! makes alot of sense

  • its a man in a box

  • Thanks

  • why does cisco and other "trainers" make this look so hard? I got this minutes into watching this video! I would have taken my CCNA exam if I knew this part was this easy! Damn Cisco!

  • This was great spent an hour looking all over books on the net then just five mins with this got it A BIG THANK YOU

  • @TheThuglyonslow My textbook might as well just have a chapter heading followed by "Google it!"

  • Very good trick, thanks.

  • Good Numbah !

  • This was the most interesting tutorial, patiently explained.

  • thank really good

  • what......

i came on here looking for instructions on how to dilute an antiseptic mouth wash.....

  • yuck, the magick numbah!!

  • really best tutorial!

  • Anyone else notice he was talking to us about CCNA but the yellow background was CCIE. Maybe he's CCIE certified. HOLY GRAIL!!!!!

  • Omg that magic number is such a help! My teacher never told me that! I'd sort of memorize the bits and just kind of know. This way is a lot faster.

  • ...i don't get it :P

  • I figured out this method myself after being so frustrated with binary all the time. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one using it. :P

It's nice because it literally just takes seconds to do and it works great during exams etc.

  • I have ready many articles on subnetting, if only I had seen this video fierst it would have saved me no end of headaches!!

  • go on ccna-online-training

    you'll thx me

    Saludos desde Mexico

  • nice video, really helpful in explaining concepts for a network security class I'm taking.

  • Why are you hurrying so much? This does help it to make sense. If you slowed it down, then it would be more understandable..

  • u look like patrick working in du noc.

  • Your title states TCP/IP ... this has nothing to do with TCP at all. It's IPv4, the addressing scheme.
