  • This is why everybody hates coxswains.

  • laughed pretty hard. cox's fault as said above though

  • fout van de stuur, de boeg deed niets fout.

  • lol that happend to me my first two months of crew exept for i was in the 5 seat and it hit right below my ribcage and lifted me up and out into the water

  • stupid buoy

  • no, it's the fault of the cox, not from the bow.

  • hij heeft et over de boei

  • The song is called "Perfect Exceeder", have a look at youtube video jEQFbqyKNrE

  • What is the song?? I luv it

  • perfect

  • autsch .. XD klootzak

  • cox is at fault

  • damn that sucks

  • outch moet pijn doen

  • Some additional info: the Coxswain actually was from the ASR Nereus, the Rowers are indeed of the DSRV Laga. The boat started on the left side of the ball which caused the crab.

  • dan is et alleen maar erger dat ze een stuurfout maakt :P

  • Bad stearing, no mistake by the rower. I have seen the same crab with olympic rowers which also hit the ball and almost smashed him out.

  • i´ve never seen such a big huge crab!!

  • nice crab!

  • its called 'perfect exceeder'. v. popular song

  • I like the song at the beginning of that clip... does anybody know artist/song title?

    good crab though...

  • The crab is not the "work" of Nereus, but D.S.R.V. Laga's bow...

  • Thanks rsvanri, I've updated the video information. I should have recognised that was not a Nereus crew -- a few years ago I lost at Henley to a very fart Nereus crew!

  • actually, the crab was the work of the coxswain, who couldn't avoid the large bright red buoy.
