  • why not just buy stainless washers from the hardware store?

  • I was looking for some 1/4 inch thick metal to use for the base. Rather than just use washers this way it looks like a custom made part. I can also control the size of the hole in the center. A washer would have a hole too big to fill and just not look right.

  • Another I didn't know about. Wasn't sure what I was seeing in the beginning, thought it was a yellow hot cylinder that you were cooling the bottom of. :-)
