I find it remarkable that the science of Cannabis wouldn't be available to a Presidencial candidate. Cannabis has been used for over 4000 years. Until 1937, it was regularly prescribed for the treatment of serious illnesses. Cannabis is the single most tested medication in the history of the world. The American College of Physicians recently came out in support of Cannabis treatment. Perhaps being a Republican requires forfeiting your brain along with your soul.

understandable, doctors should try all methods of pain relief that the patients understand and want to try, most medical marijuana patients have chosen pot because they have tried multiple pain relievers and have not received the relief and increased appetite from them as well as marijuana does for them. basically you have one body, do what is best to take care of it.

Hopefully a guy running for President might care enough for patients to let them decide. He doesn't care. Oxycontin prescribed is ok but not marijuana. Pill form marinol is not as good. And the whole reason why this fight goes on. Marijuana can't be patented, no drug company will make a profit from it.

Shame on you. WE HAVE CHANGED THE LAWS IN OUR STATES. Current Rx drugs are more abused than Marijuana both by Dr. shopping AND on the street. Marijuana has been shown to be less harmful than alcohol which isn't approved to treat any illness, but we know is widely used to dull the pains of human existence. Sorry but the marijuana crackdown is nothing more than a way to make sure big pharma maintains an inappropriate monopoly on medicine.
