I'm glad he skipped football practice to see whats really happening in the world. The video fell short in a lot of ways. It seemed watered down compared to the horrors these people have endured
Wonderful piece of photo journalism from a youth - the messages portrayed here resonated with me. I am proud of Nick and glad he made the trip & video
I'm glad to see American youth representing the deeper aspects of our society instead of being self-consumed with materialistic veiw-points. America should not be the extent of our focus. America has fought its wars and we all have the opportunities available to make better lives for ourselves. Those who choose not to take advantage of these wish to put blame on others for their failures. May God bless the compassionate.
we should let them die tbh. it's not our business, let alone our "moral" responsibility" to fix every shithole 3rd world country on the earth. in case you didn't know, there are some rural improvrished (and urban impovrished) areas in the US that essentially look like this. why don't you do something about the poverty we have here before you jet set around garbage 3rd world nations? have fun crying your universal tears
I don't believe there is any race of people in the U.S. that's being tortured, raped, and murdered by their own government, as is the case in Darfur. If you care so little, why bother watching the video?
Wonderful thing you did. Great job! I'm a college freshman and an online activist for Oxfam (and several other causes). I would love to do what you did. How can I become a Youth Ambassador?
Great job, young man.....The youth of America and the world need to stand up and make positive changes instead of being selfish. This world will be what our youth make it..it is their future..it can be peaceful or war, it can be a healthy environment or a poisoned environment..you make the difference...YOU ARE the one that you have been waiting for. Out of your seats and into the streets. Power shift and Change IT!
good job homey
