This actual recording is ALSO on a boxed vinyl set called 'Guitar Magic', issued by either World 8 Records, or Readers Digest - a truly wonderful collection ( that I used to have) so I could have settled the argument below once and for all!
Do you have the Chet studio outtakes that I have posted? Do you have Chet's rarities collections? (The Chet tracks that hardly ANYONE knows about?) I do. And that is exactly where this cut came from.
I honestly dodn't know how you pick one tune of Mr. Atkins, and say--"This is the best", or--"This is my favorite". If you pick one of his songs as a favorite, you will soon hear another that replaces it, and on it goes. They are all so special. Bruce
Beautissimo!

What do you say that has not been said about Chet the greatest finger picker to ever live

It's a bit staccato for my liking, but the more improvised free-flowing lead part is really great. And he was such a clean player. Beautiful tone.

A Beatles masterpiece, played with feeling that only Chet Atkins could deliver.
Thanks for posting this.

Magnificent sound, beautiful beyond belief . Masterful musicians like Chet only pass this way once in a lifetime.

Magic, just like most of Chet's work. So sadly missed.
