Good video. This song is actually from 1977 from the album All Hopped Up. The album was re-released in 1999 with additional songs as Ridin' in my Car. Sadly, this song, along with some other real gems from the band, doesn't appear to even be on iTunes.
@PampersPete By posting release years, bacmaster's helping me build an unbelievable musical time machine - 111 playlists for every year since 1900! Love the vocal harmony and the cool beat in this one. My channel is about FUN music like this, hope you stop by! (I've got over 550 playlists in all) Chuck
@chkjns Thank you for the invitation, Chuck. I'll be sure to make some time to check out your playlists. I'm a HUGE lover of all types of music no matter how old. I'm constantly finding "new" music here on YT through videos or word of mouth. I'm also always looking for new videos to feature on my channel as well. I'll try and find something later tonight.
@PampersPete The Q has been a staple of New England boys since the early 70's. A right bar band is NRBQ. I've seen them more times than I can count. "NRBQ Rocket"
And let's thank TheBacmaster for posting this. Cheers all the way round.
@LostSoul887 DUDE, somebody put your wheel on the PASSENGER side of your car - somebody play a prank on you? btw, I've YET to encounter any carriages on your dual carriageways, only cars & lorries, and yes, I speak English AND American ! ! ! ! And I can speak Anglais, Engelsk & Inglés undt Englisch
@chkjns Wow! A man of many talents with all those languages you speak. Dude really? Damn, I thought something was strange when I had to switch to the other side to drive. Do carriages have steering wheels? Maybe that's my problem, I'm so used to carriages I failed to notice that my steering wheel was on the other side. Thanks for your observations dude :-)
@LostSoul887 Nope, typically carriages only have leather straps to steer & DON"T accidentally step in the exhaust - you'll b sorry ! ! I too love driving, how get this: Gatwick -Stonehenge,lunch,on to Liskeard with dear friends. afternoon at Looe, next day at Eden Project.Next up R. Wye to Bangor, next day on Anglesey, to Carlyle by 00:00 off to Loch Lomond, Urquardt Castle & Culloden, back 2 Carlyle by 00:00. Sheffied next, friends again, then Clacton, Nase Tower, then Gatwick. 8 days., 2050mi!
@chkjns Ahh good man my friend, thanks for the information :) I love driving, too. I'm doing LGV lessons at the moment (if you know what LGV means, it's an English term ;)) My father also used to work for British Aerospace as a pilot and flew light aircraft (Cessna's etc). I grew up with that and had my first flight at 3 years old :-)
