These platters are incredible. They call it chicken gyro platter, they will put a little lamb in for you as well. The chicken is so fresh and good it seems asmthough the little bitches were just hacked to death that morning... Also, reviewer... to be honest, the halal on 53rd is so/so. the only reason y people get it is because the quantity of the food and the white sauce and the HOT CHILI SAUCE. lol an the korean food truck is located at E14st, right in front of Trader Joe's and Trader Joe's Wine Shop.
Just a thought, if you guys want to park close anywhere for a long period of time, you can park alongside 52nd and 6th, there is a meter there and it's until midnight, and after that you don't have to put it in. There is no where to "park" to stand your car on 53rd because cops patrol around there. So might as well. And then you can eat in your afterwards, there are lots of benches on 52nd where you can sit and eat.
I love Hala chicken lamb and rice with the white sauce and hot sauce amazing combination...but word to advice for those of you trying halal dont ever buy halal from anyone who isnt arab or muslim for the simple fact they prepare a particular that is just unbeatable, for example I bought chicken and lamb over rice from a mexican dude at a food cart and it was the worst expirience ever, i was like this isnt Halal this is a LIE!!

They have another cart around the corner that is run by their own men with a shorter line or literally no line. I've eaten from both carts and their style (and white sauce) is almost identical.
Just be sure to look for their circular aluminum plates, the yellow plastic bags and shirts with the Famous 53rd and 6th Halal logo.
