When you sing for the Lord.....it does not matter if a note is off or on! She should not even worry about any negative comments....she is singing for the Lord that's all that matter! Why can't she sing even if that her father's church? Let the perfect singer or person throw the first stone! Praise God! Sing sister! Sing sister!

@JLady590 That is EXACTLY what I was trying to write on my last post. It seems more important for him to promote her than to bless the people. She's not horrible, but she is not the best one to sing for the people at this particular time...based on what I see here. More training. More time with Jesus instead of feeling entitled because daddy is the Bishop...

@JLady590: After re-reading, I don't think I evaluated well. I sound really mean...and I won't delete so I can be chastised about being critical. She has a good voice...and she'll grow. As far as 1:19, I think she's trying to get someone's attention for help, it seems. All kinds of things happen onstage. She might not have been able to hear herself in the monitors. Maybe there was no bass. Who knows? Between the choir, band, and congregation, she did the best she could with what she had.
