@ginganz13 caught up with him at the next junction but couldn't get close enough as there were too many motorbikes blocking the ASL

Technically the rules on zig zag lines only apply to motorised vehicles passing motorised vehicles.

@zenfarion Agreed.Cyclists right hooks & no indication of turning really piss me off too.It´s bad enough when vechiles do that.
