The metro in holland suck, its very ugly, not safty and you alwats see a broken door or something and graffitis on the metro, its old and the stations are ugly.
nee hoor, dat klopt. In de periode reed de 53/54 gevorkt, en bij kop maken op het CS was dan de routerichting 54 al aangegeven. Hetzelfde gebeurde op lijn 54, want richting CS maakt dat verder niet uit. Je ziet tegenwoordig ook vaak in plaats daarvan het GVB-logo op de sluitwagen.
But i think i do like the sound of the amsterdam metro's most when the doors are closing. Amsterdam has one sound, a sort of WEEWEE sound, while the Old Rotterdam Metro's are more like PONG and the newer ones are TUDUUTUU.
Ok, I myself have seen 6 metro networks till now. I think the trains of the Amsterdam metro are kind of dirty and old but I still love it. Rotterdam is cleaner.
Old they are indeed, nearing 30 years. And they are due to be replaced by newer models that will ride the future North-South line too. Wide models again :)
Those won't stay clean for long though either I suppose, though visual maintenance improved.
No A'dam-R'dam crap from me, actually I like being in Rotterdam, be it as a visitor. And I meant it when I like both stations and metro there. Don't know how the R'dam tube is in rush hours, but I know I prefer the wide ones. In Amsterdam we can compare
I can tell you, in the rush hours the Rotterdam Metro is very very full, sometimes you are smashed against the doors ;) At least I am sometimes.. I prefer the newer ones above the old ones, cause you can sit sidewards and there is more place to stand when in Rush Hours :)

Mooi filmpje, maar je zou misschien bij het eerste filmpje wat verder bij de metro vandaan kunnen staan. je kijkt nu zewat door de metro heen

Ugly Amsterdam subway station, Rotterdam is nicer and train does look like an ugly bus or lorrie truck.

ok, Rotterdam sure did a good job on their stations. And the new trains on Rotterdam metro look great. But these trains offer loads of room :)
