I have a 1992 light blue ls man I love that thing it'd truly a beast of a car can I know the name of the song please I would love to blast it while I'm driving in my mercury grand Marquis
@TheSuperCRASHer Because you have shit tires and can't drive. Get 4 studded winterforces (185's, the narrowest you can fit on the rims), a posi unit out back and some weight in the trunk and you can go just as many places a fwd can...
@Leafsrule016 dude dont fucking say I cant drive alls I was asking is why the damn car sucks in the snow well its probably cause its light as a bitch in the back.but thanks for FINALLY replying to my comment and yes I will need new tires for the snow and ice when it comes.
yeah my fucking front seats dont work anymore cause i was trying to move the seat back up and the buttons weren't working right so now i have to find a manual seat with a lever.
i just bought a 97 grand marquis LE, fully loaded, with leather seats for 500 bucks Canadian. Estested and safetied. has a dent in the door, and a couple scuffs on the bumper. so they sold it cheap. other then that, interior is mint and runs like a dream.. but the best thing is, i'm a giggiing drummer, and my kit fits in the TRUNK!
I'm trying to save up the money to buy my buddy's '97 Grand Marquis (LS?) for a first car. it's got some problems but I remember it ran pretty good. how's yours done you? would you reccomend it for getting to school, work, and going on road trips? and about the trunk, I remember we fitted a ice cooler about 2.5 feet T by 16-18 inches wide by 3 feet long in the trunk, and had plenty of room to spare! so i know the trunk's big enough lol.
This is a very nice car. I LOVE These cars. I have a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis Gs. I bought it used. It had two owners before me, it needs a little work done to it but its worth fixing especially what i paid for it. Videos coming soon on my channel!
Sat in one last month here in Holland (one of the few) that ended up getting scrapped because the rear air-suspension broke down... A shame for such a great vehicle...
@kajeevandev thanks My grampa had a crown vic and the air ride went in it and i think he replaced it with coil springs because the air bags are very pricy.
Nice comfy ride. I used to perfer the mid 90's era versions but now I'm getting turned on to the 2000 and up versions. They have more of the luxury look.
@01jaycob I bought mine at $2000 and the mileage was 173,000. and now i just hit 181,000 over the past 2 months.its a good car but i still put gas in it 3 times a week but what the hell i love big cars anyways.by the way its a 281 v8.
Very nice car :) I love the color! The only thing you're missing is leather seats. Other than that it seems to be full-option! Take good care of it! It's worth it.
It is a very neat GM though! I just bought a GM myself and was looking for videos about these cars. Your video is very interesting, it shows all aspects of the car. Mine is a 94 model, I like the wheels, looks of the front and the interior of that year the most. I like your tail lights better though. I didn't notice my car has cornering lights before you pointed it out in your video. It also has a small safe in the trunk. Do you know if that was an original option?
I like the '96,97' a little but better then the older ones but there all nice?
I love those cornering lights there so nice at nite time and there BRIGHT I think all cars should have those! I dont think that safe was an option i never heard of it.
How do I identify sport rims? They don't look too sporty though, they're the 15" lace wheels with the large center caps. I saw the cornering lights on my GM are not working :( I'll have to take a look at the bulbs I guess :P
They are sport rims, and there 16 inch not 15. They come on the hpp package cars (handling and performance). The way to tell is if they have true dual h pipe exhaust (2 inch piping) with turn downs, if not then chances are the wheels were put on or the exhaust was changed. They also had different tires, thicker sway bars ect. I have a 97 hpp myself, in vermont green.
Nice Car man. I have one just like it but mine is leather int. and gold paint. I put custom flowmaster dual exhausts on mine. also have cold air intake, throttle body spacer, jet performance tune a perf. ignition and black and chrome cragar wheels. The performance potential in these is huge. take it from me, cause mine is VERY FAST. I will be posting a video soon hopefully. Nice car man see ya around!
just bought one 3 weeks ago, identical to yours, same color LS. have yet to put it on the road, waiting for better weather. see you on the road sometime~
i have a 97 myself.. hpp package same as yours (yours has factory dual exhaust right?) , great cars. Treat them well and they will treat you even better.. Perfect car for cruising, had a 03 accord 2 door coupe as a daily driver, much prefer the big merc
Yea I watched a video before I got the car explining how it works. DanielJaegerFilms did it if you want to check it out if you havent alredy prety cool
The '97 is my favorite year, I've got my eyes peeled for a black one with the dual exhaust/performance package. I hope you enjoy that car, they are reliable and you can put crown vic police parts in them if you want more power or more firm ride/handling. My mom's lookin' at an '08 LS Ultimate Edition, and my grandfather had a '90 Grand Marquis GS with the 5.0 liter V8. I'm 17 and I love these cars, they're not just for old people lol!
That is an absolutely beautiful car. I had a highway patrol 2003 crown victoria but had to sell it. Broke my heart to let it go but couldn't afford 2 cars. I hope you get many years out of it. Lucky You. Sincerely,d JAMES.
