  • Just got one today.

  • this car sucks ass in the snow and ice.i know cuase i drove in it and it slide everywhere.

  • @TheSuperCRASHer Because you have shit tires and can't drive. Get 4 studded winterforces (185's, the narrowest you can fit on the rims), a posi unit out back and some weight in the trunk and you can go just as many places a fwd can...

  • @Leafsrule016 dude dont fucking say I cant drive alls I was asking is why the damn car sucks in the snow well its probably cause its light as a bitch in the back.but thanks for FINALLY replying to my comment and yes I will need new tires for the snow and ice when it comes.

  • @TheSuperCRASHer alright but these cars dont suck in snow ... ill tell you what does suck though, a two wheel drive half ton truck.

  • @Leafsrule016 well I dont have a truck cause im more of a car guy.

  • I like it -its a good car -getting a light blue one today -160,000 for 2350.has good power -190hp,245 torque i belive .

  • I like it -its a good car -getting a light blue one today -160,000 for 2350.has good power -190hp,t45 torque i belive .

  • yeah my fucking front seats dont work anymore cause i was trying to move the seat back up and the buttons weren't working right so now i have to find a manual seat with a lever.

  • I just bought the same car two months ago. I want to put a loud exhaust on it, but I don't know what to get. lol

  • i just bought a 97 grand marquis LE, fully loaded, with leather seats for 500 bucks Canadian. Estested and safetied. has a dent in the door, and a couple scuffs on the bumper. so they sold it cheap. other then that, interior is mint and runs like a dream.. but the best thing is, i'm a giggiing drummer, and my kit fits in the TRUNK!

  • I'm trying to save up the money to buy my buddy's '97 Grand Marquis (LS?) for a first car. it's got some problems but I remember it ran pretty good. how's yours done you? would you reccomend it for getting to school, work, and going on road trips? and about the trunk, I remember we fitted a ice cooler about 2.5 feet T by 16-18 inches wide by 3 feet long in the trunk, and had plenty of room to spare! so i know the trunk's big enough lol.

  • these aint 20s thems is 10s but they clean ,,,lololo,,,"FRIDAY"

  • Dude i got a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis..just wrecked it though..think u could do a vid on replacing the fender..that would help alot! thanks dude.

  • This is a very nice car. I LOVE These cars. I have a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis Gs. I bought it used. It had two owners before me, it needs a little work done to it but its worth fixing especially what i paid for it. Videos coming soon on my channel!

  • Nice Grand Marquis!

can you do a Driving Video of it?

  • what kind of engine does this car have i know it has a v8 engine but what is it a 302 or bigger.

  • @TheSuperCRASHer ese coche trae un 4.6 litros.

  • cleannnn

  • i just picked one up. man do I love this car. This shit is pimpin!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great car!

Sat in one last month here in Holland (one of the few) that ended up getting scrapped because the rear air-suspension broke down... A shame for such a great vehicle...

  • @kajeevandev thanks My grampa had a crown vic and the air ride went in it and i think he replaced it with coil springs because the air bags are very pricy.

  • Comment removed

  • @01jaycob I guess people/mechanics here (unfortunately) don't even know you can replace the airbags with coil springs... :-S

  • @kajeevandev you could have just put coil springs in it,,,,,,,,man that sucks

  • Nice comfy ride. I used to perfer the mid 90's era versions but now I'm getting turned on to the 2000 and up versions. They have more of the luxury look.

  • nice car men... i have the same car....!

  • i just got a 97 GS with only 50,XXX miles and its nice! i just wish it had digital gauges and CD player...

  • how is it on gas ?

  • @esbn17 not bad for what it is. 20 mpg average i think.

  • @01jaycob I bought mine at $2000 and the mileage was 173,000. and now i just hit 181,000 over the past 2 months.its a good car but i still put gas in it 3 times a week but what the hell i love big cars anyways.by the way its a 281 v8.

  • @esbn17 unless you drive in cities alot you should get mid 20s (U.S. MPG)

  • Nice Car!

  • @2athletic4you Thanks Buddy -Jaycob.

  • your video should be you reving it with stock exaust or if u got a new exaust

  • i have one myself very nice ride very comfy

  • @obx32 Yea I love mine lots of power too

  • Very nice car :) I love the color! The only thing you're missing is leather seats. Other than that it seems to be full-option! Take good care of it! It's worth it.

  • Thank you, I know what your saying i wish it had leather.

    Thanks for the comment -Jaycob

  • @01jaycob

It is a very neat GM though! I just bought a GM myself and was looking for videos about these cars. Your video is very interesting, it shows all aspects of the car. Mine is a 94 model, I like the wheels, looks of the front and the interior of that year the most. I like your tail lights better though. I didn't notice my car has cornering lights before you pointed it out in your video. It also has a small safe in the trunk. Do you know if that was an original option?

  • @McVaio does you Marquis have the sport rims too?

I like the '96,97' a little but better then the older ones but there all nice?

I love those cornering lights there so nice at nite time and there BRIGHT I think all cars should have those! I dont think that safe was an option i never heard of it.

  • @01jaycob

How do I identify sport rims? They don't look too sporty though, they're the 15" lace wheels with the large center caps. I saw the cornering lights on my GM are not working :( I'll have to take a look at the bulbs I guess :P

  • oh I dont know I thought they called them sport rims but i think they call them "honeycomb"

  • @01jaycob

They are sport rims, and there 16 inch not 15. They come on the hpp package cars (handling and performance). The way to tell is if they have true dual h pipe exhaust (2 inch piping) with turn downs, if not then chances are the wheels were put on or the exhaust was changed. They also had different tires, thicker sway bars ect. I have a 97 hpp myself, in vermont green.

  • ill keep my old school mustang.. :-P only payed 2000 for mine.. :-) and my motor and trans only has 10K miles on them..

  • Yea I checked out your video on it. pretty cool. sounds like you got a good deal!

    Thanks for the comment -Jaycob

  • Nice, I belive it.

Every one seems to label these cars as "gas guzzlers" i Dont think there that bad. lots of power when you need it too.

    Thanks for the comment -Jaycob

  • Nice Car man. I have one just like it but mine is leather int. and gold paint. I put custom flowmaster dual exhausts on mine. also have cold air intake, throttle body spacer, jet performance tune a perf. ignition and black and chrome cragar wheels. The performance potential in these is huge. take it from me, cause mine is VERY FAST. I will be posting a video soon hopefully. Nice car man see ya around!

  • Thanks! I wish mine was learther. I like the factory rims They put on theses cars but the cragar rims would look really sharp.

Looking foward to see a video of your car sound sweet, send me a link when you put it up!

    Thanks for the comment -Jaycob

  • whats better this or a crown vic

  • I wouldent say one is "better" then the other.

I think the Grand Marquis is a more fancy then the Crown Vic.

  • just bought one 3 weeks ago, identical to yours, same color LS. have yet to put it on the road, waiting for better weather. see you on the road sometime~

  • Very Nice. Im shure you wont be disapointed. we've had this for about ..3 Months now, and we love it, and are very happy with it.

  • Nice grand marquis I have a 94 and that car runs like a champ when it comes to reliabe these cars are 10 outta 10

  • Thanks you they do seem like a reliabe car.

  • i got the same thing, but silver, Grey interior and 57,000 miles

  • very nice, how do you like it?

  • i like it a lot, wish it was leather though.

  • thats one clean merc, nice pick up

  • thank-you

  • i have a 97 myself.. hpp package same as yours (yours has factory dual exhaust right?) , great cars. Treat them well and they will treat you even better.. Perfect car for cruising, had a 03 accord 2 door coupe as a daily driver, much prefer the big merc

  • Nice,

And yes mine has the factory duel exhaust.

They are great cars I love mine.

    thanks for the comment man.

    Happy cruising -Jaycob :)

  • yeah actually thats how i figured out!! i had no clue until that vid

  • The '97 is my favorite year, I've got my eyes peeled for a black one with the dual exhaust/performance package. I hope you enjoy that car, they are reliable and you can put crown vic police parts in them if you want more power or more firm ride/handling. My mom's lookin' at an '08 LS Ultimate Edition, and my grandfather had a '90 Grand Marquis GS with the 5.0 liter V8. I'm 17 and I love these cars, they're not just for old people lol!

  • Thanks, Im shure I will enjoy it I love it so far.

I will probily do another video on it later

    Thanks for the awesome comment

good luck finding yourself one im shure you will -Jaycob
