  • Miles near breaking the speed of sound, flawlessly exhilarating, with accomplices Tony Williams and Herbie Hancock neck-and-neck. 1964, I heard this group (minus Coleman) at the Jazz Workshop on Broadway in San Francisco, a small boxcar of a joint. Never heard Miles or Herbie better. Tony Williams - his chops had to be seen to be believed. Next night the rude Alcohol Beverage Control removed Williams from the club because he was still 17. I am great fan of this particular version of Miles Davis group,so it´s exciting to hear this recording, which is different than any other version I have in my collection .

  • This is from an LP "Miles Davis Vol.2".

It was on sale as "A System of Eternal JAZZ" by CBS SONY FAMILY CLUB in Japan.

But, sorry, I don't know where was this recorded.

I post as much as possible.Thank you.
