Strange Beam of Light Wiltshire

I was walking this hilltop a week back and it's just lightly wooded farmland over that hill brow.Could be anything though -but I take it this was at night?

If I'd seen this earlier I'd have looked harder- but only cows and sheep.

looks like a few sprites dodging about too. Strange area this vale...

me and my friend saw this literally fuckin exact thing like an hour ago, i went crazy and started researching haha. but it wasn't coming from earth, because it kept goingup, and towards earth it was disapearing but still there coming from the sky shooting down

My son and I were travelling from Chesterfield late that night and we saw a beam of light the same as this whilst travelling in the car between Newark and the Boston, Kings Lynn, Donnington roundabout. I also counted 5 flashes in the sky of a bright white round light. Amazing...

It may look like it's moving but consider this.

The camera is looking up at a decent angle but we still see the ridge. Whatever the light source is, appears rather far away. If the spotlight was lower than the horizon being shown on the camera, say... a town or city just over the ridge and down in a valley, then the angle of the light is consistent with being stationary and just sweeping across the sky.

The Iraqui people may know them - they are the only nation since invention of Laser lights, who had anti-aircraft devices against US-bombing !

the reason it 'appeared' to move, was the break in the storm clouds moving rapidly, with the sunbeam peaking through at different angles.

i think the location would be of interest,wiltshire is riddled with military and police,so the possibilities are huge,but surely if this was near a known base or helicopter pad it would be that.not knocking it but we must look at location/time etc x

People see what they want to see but in reality the light appears to show evidence of coming from the ground. It's brighter at the bottom than at the top.

The small white lights apx 3 to four of them are probably dead pixels on the camera chip

Guys take proper look the light is clearly in the sky someone is using night shoot so hence the low qty but if you look closely you will see that the light is much more intense from behind the cloud which suggests to me that what ever it is its up above and not on the ground just my opinion......

Is there a chance this could be moonlight, or perhaps some kind of anomaly having to do with the camera's sensor as it focuses in on a bright light source? Just speculating. Of course it could also be a outright hoax. There are so many hoaxers around the Crop Circle mystery that it's tough to tell the wheat from the chaff.

it's a searchlight. in the second World War they used these to search the skies for enemy planes. Nowadays they're used at events or disco's as Jeaazy said. With nightgoggles it looks kind off weird, but it's nothing more or less.

@karel100768 It is not a searchlight!! They are stationary!! This beam moves at a rapid pace across the ground and is pointing straight up all the time. That is impossible for a searchlight that has to be in one place and has a angular beam!! Watch the very begining of the video and you can see it move

From 1:00 to about 1:20 you can see the beam move behind the trees to the field at right at the ground level. Therefore a static arc light would be ruled out, unless it was mounted to a vehicle traveling on a distant road near the fields.

lol...from disco. Grow up...we are not alone in the universe...so called "ufo's" are spaceships...but not ours. "official" contact via cropcircles was made back in 2002 with that alien holding disc in his hand and "their" Arecibo message response in the crop formation. btw, on this video you can see clearly a spaceship in a form of a triangle flying above the field...from minute 1:06-1:11. But their spaceship can also change form..not a problem with that kind of technology.

I'm told aliens moving through time need "timestamps" - they need a point of reference in time - the eroding circle tells them how much time passed, then when they move backwards and the circle vanishes - that's their "door"
