Oh, off cooooourse they didn't addressed the reason why it hurts that bad. The reason is evolution: if your balls don't hurt, you don't protect them so much, you have less reproductive fitness. If your balls hurt VERY BAD, then you'll be VERY careful, and have a higher reproductive fitness.
