im not a hero either i have been a firefighter for 5 years im 24 and if i die i want to be known as a everyday person like all the other but im a firefighter so i like the video keep up making them Jake Station 62 In pa
I have never considered myself a hero, but my firefighters friends, they are the greatest heroes for me, because they help me and support me, they bring me the knowledge, and the strenght for continuing givin always the best, for helping others, I did not become a firefighter for being a hero, I became firefighter for helping heroes, and other people.
@jmaxwell30 very true. when i was little and i used to call firefighter heros. And i always said i wanted to be a hero. I remember after my first fire my gf called me a hero. i told her i was not a hero i was just doing what i was trained for. if you wanna be a hero you are in it for the wrong reasons. It has to be in your blood, you have got to love it.
@timberland1108 I agree with you 100 %, some people just want the title of being a hero, I come from a history of firefighters in my family, both my dad, grandfather, great grandfather, mother, brother, me are firefighters, i married in to a family of firefighters, so there for its in my blood, also i joined the fire service due to the fact, I lost my home to a a fire when I was bout 3 yrs old, so its my way of saying thank you, but being a firefighter is the greatest and I do it because I love it.
That makes no sense lol..Ok, so he did not actually die, he just died in the movie? Or they planned his death for real? I hope not! Lol....havin a blonde moment I guess
well, I have heard about some clips from the movie that are real, in a fire in baltimore, but I´m not sure what parts are true and what aren´t, anyway, thanks for your comment, and take care.
great song, great band, great job. im 18 i will become a fire fighter. and next year its off to college for the first step to it. they are heros and i want to be one.
goodgo for it, I´m a volunteer firefighter and I can swear there is nothing better than become a firefighter, well maybe just for tohse who wants to help others, and stay always on risking their lives, for the duty.
great backdraft clips hate ladder 49 so much fake fire i hated that shit i walked out of that movie they need 2 make another great 1 like backdraft that would be fucking sweet
ladder 49 was based in baltimore, (sp?) b/c it was the only city tht would let them burn any thing they wanted, w/in reason. ik the fire looks fake but its not
This is not a fake fire...it is a true fire in Baltimore that was obvioulsy monitored. Read aboout Worcester, MA in '99, it is very similar. We lost 65 in that fire and this fire in Blatimore an our fire are earily similar. Trust me, it is not fake, I have been in this. Backdraft is very much favke if you have ever been in a factory fire but it made for a good movie.
were not heros ur here cause u live and breathe for the job

I mis-typed...we lost 6, not 65. Sorry about the spelling....I was in a hurry when I initially typed.

yeah my brother told me that this actually happened but he forgot what state it happened in. he also said that there was a LODD during this fire.
cobralite 3 years ago
for those of you who dont know what LODD stands for it is an abr. for Line of duty death.
