Yes to jjhays. The dog is very likely the reason the moose headed towards the camera man. My brother-in-law had his dog lead a charging moose right to him. The dog got behind him for safety and when the moose saw a human being it stopped and went back into the bush, luckily.

I got charged by a moose while tree-planting last summer and it was the scariest moment of my life. MUCH worse than being charged by a black bear (also happened - a few years ago)
