  • Thought I'd share - a local Celtic troupe in my hometown called Dannsair do a fine rendition of this song, too! Have a go, and feel free to leave some feedback. =) : /user/DannsairMusic

  • Séamus Egan was born in Hatboro, Pennsylvania to Irish émigrés Jack and Ann Egan. At the age of three his parents moved the family back home to County Mayo, Ireland.

  • Cool song...wonderfull band!

  • Bands like Solas are proof that there's hope for America yet!

  • @ClareJulissa Actually they're Irish...

  • @tdbsnr Quoted from the Solas Facebook page: "For over a decade, Solas has been recognized as the most influential Irish-American super group."

They may play Irish music, but they're from the USA!

  • I wish I could find Set Free. It was soooo amazing!

  • They perform so well live. I love this band!

  • Nice I suppose but I can't really enjoy it when I've got the original version by Richard Thompson going through my head. RT's version is one of the best British folk songs of the 20th century in my book!

  • i like it xD

  • beautiful music!!! I love irish music, this is just so great!!!!
