@bropettway If you had in fact watched all my videos you'd see quite a few interiews with Englewood residents - including video shot during the time I spent rehabbing homes there as part of Rebuilding Together. You'd also see video we shot with Englewood If and with other community groups on the south side.

I've spent a great deal of time on the ground in Englewood, Chatham, Auburn Gresham, Woodlawn, Kenwood, Bronzeville, Washington Park, etc. etc. helping to promote those communities.

I grew up on the streets of New Jersey. I know when I'm being threatened, not being advised of someone's Facebook account.

If you've seen all my videos you know that I've covered South Side areas where no one else goes sympathetically - perhaps because they have to face off-the-wall shots from people calling "racism" where there isn't any.

In addition you failed to highlight the new development with in the Englewood community. If you would have continued the other way on 63rd around St. Benard hospital 326 W. 64th you would have witness a thriving neighbor with New developments and no vancant lots. As for you researching permits for a rehab on a 2 flat I wished you did that for your condo's and more affluent properties up north but I'm certain you don't because it would illustrate your prejudices against a certain group of people.

Thanks for all the concern guys. I've spent enough time and talked to enough people in Englewood to be very aware of the gang and drug issues.

I'm careful to ask permission or to avoid pointing my camera in the direction of people who don't want to be on camera. As one guy told me in West Garfield Park "I already have my picture on the Internet, if you know what I mean." I knew what he meant, and moved on quickly.

This is area is a has big drug market. Crack and herion are the drugs of choice. I don't care how poor I was, I would not move my family into that area. I am surpised you were not approached by any gang members about you videoing the area.
