  • You sing very well, your accent gives a special charm to the song.

  • @ContreJours Thanks, you're too kind. I love the song.

  • merci

  • Actually I think the fifth chord is Bm instead of D. Listen to the B as the bass note in that chord - it gives a much fuller sound. Also instead of Em and C between the refrains try Em Bm.

  • thank you =)

  • That was awsome I love it

  • beautiful cover! I was wondering if anyone knew of an english translation of this? I just want to know what is being sung I get chills when I hear this song I cant be satisfied by just listening I want to understand as well lol.

  • @scarecrowman472001 I can start it off for you.... There's a blue house, on the side of a hill, You arrive on foot, don't knock on the door, The people who live there have thrown away the key We meet up again together, after years on the road, come and sit down, it's dinner time. Everybody is there at 5 O'clock in the evening When San Francisco lights up, San Francisco gets cloudy, San Franciso, Where are you, Lizard and Luc, Psylvia - wait for me.
  • @andyrobertsmusic amazing stuff thank you!

  • Bonjour from Paris, this cover is beautiful and spirit of this song in your french is entire.

    Well done!

  • DAMN! Where did you learn this? I'd kill for some tabes or just a chord layout, I cant find a decent one, We just heard this song in my French class and Im mystified, any links or help? Great job too btw

  • Bravo for your French teacher!

@Lumberjack8675309 I learned it by listening to the Maxime le Forestier record when I was in Poiters in 1975. But it should be much easier for you to just look at the video and copy the chords from there.

    Em, C, Em , G D, C, G, D, and there's a Bm and an Am too.

    C'est tout!

  • @andyrobertsmusic thank you! since 75? thats 35 years. Wow, I was definitly born in the wrong era, again thank you, I guess ill figure out all the little licks by myself, this is tons of help, merci mon ami!

  • Quel joli accent... charmant!
