Part 2 - Add to part 1 of my comment, Holly was an experienced fundraiser befoire coming on CA where Bret had to learn everything as the show went along. Lastly, there is no way anyone could ever "one up" a man who literally risked his life for the cause he was playing for. Bret won and he should have.

I don't think DT was soft on Bret at all. In fact, I think he was soft on Holly. More often than not when a project manager lost the task and was in the boardroom, it was that project manager who got fired. Holly was in the boardroom twice as losing project manager and wasn't fired. (part 2 to follow).
