@aDezenT No he didnt just get motivated..... everyday of his life was basketball, michael jordan was a scrub when he was young, just like we all were. I love Mike because he had the tenacity and determination to prove everyone wrong. Everyone wants to be like mike, but no one is willing to sacrifice. It must have been terrifying to have your defensive assignment be mj.

@uberathlete MJ did a similar thing with both Dominique Wilkins and Clyde Drexler. People were discussing who was better, so when MJ went against them he put the blowout on both of them. Also notable is MJ scoring an NBA record 6 threes, all in the first half against Drexler.

There a story where in one game MJ had just 2 points or something like that after the first quarter against the Hawks. Some dude tells him, "we're stopping you tonight". MJ then proceeds to score 50 in the next 3 quarters.

And so Reggie Miller starts talking crap while the Pacers are up by 25 points at half and says "You're the great Michael Jordan? and so on" And so MJ gives Reggie Miller the "are you serious" look and then in the 3rd quarter scores the first 18 points in a row on Reggie Miller to get 42 points. Then he goes to Reggie and says "Don't you ever talk to me again rookie" gotta love MJ lol.

@phxfasho I remember this commercial pretty well, it debuted in 1997 close to the playoffs. MJ was 34 at the time. It's still an amazing commercial.
