When I first discovered Jivamukti Yoga in New York City, I couldn't believe that such a beautiful haven of peace could exist in midst of such a crazy, noisy, dirty and dangerous (as it was then) city. Over time I have come to understand from my gracious teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life that the peace and love that they were mirroring to us is the peace and love that is always inside ourselves, if we are brave and dedicated enough to look for it. Blessings and thankfulness for such beings.
They're purely compassionate & knowledgeable people. I'm so happy to find a Yoga Studio where they remember Non-Violence (Ahimsa) towards all beings, includig not eating them! So essential to a truly non-violent life.

Cool. I have not taken a class yet at the new space. Was kinda of fun at the old spot, however trying to get my way uptown. Is Ruth still there?
