Music piracy and illegal downloading is anti-semitic. People are downloading music to hurt the Jewish media bosses and take away their profits. If you download music illegally, you are a Nazi criminal!
The recording industry conned society into thinking we need their product. So what happened when I was a kid? Instead of just being happy and entertaining myself and friends like people used to do, I could only dwell on the fact that I could not afford the music that the society told me I needed to have. Now THAT's wrong!
Recorded NC Police officer discussed downloading music off the Internet He named Kazaa and you just click and get the song He said its the thing to do everybody is doing it He bet his daughters had downloaded a thousand songs on his computer He said he had to buy a new computer "HIS OLD ONE FILLED UP WITH MEMORY" He laughed and said he hoped the federal governement did not come in and investigate him This was reported to the RIAA and FBI and they ignored it Where is the justice in the lawsuits
@tracyrose1234 if half these artists had a brain they would simply take a couple million dollars of there fucking money and upt it into a high interest saving account and theyd be set for life. Just like the song says "how else am i going to afford another solid gold hum-v or diamond studded swimming pool" someday watch the show called cribs on mtv these people have houses that cost millions of dollars and they still have more money than they know what to do with so spare me the piracy rotuine.
Good game sir, if u didnt made this song by urself you DOWNLOADED IT from the internet and made a vid with it and then uploaded on youtube. To be more clear, you broke the law by just downloading the song.... STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!
Piracy is a problem in more than just America. It's global. The BBC risks that Spain could become a "Cultural Desert" due to this problem. And you can blame those Boomers in the late '60s when blank tapes first became available when they could record songs off the radio, something my father did.
This is just another reason why it costs so much to see acts live in concert. Prerecorded music was expensive for its time (75 cents in 1910 for two songs on a 78 RPM Shellac record!) And $12 for a cassette in 1980 wasn't cheap either. (around $35-40 today!)
@pannoni1 lmao I love when they use that whole "cultural desert" tactic. Do they think we are stupid? Culture existed long before the music industry diluted and branded it, and it will exist long after.
Happy - Let's say you're a Japanese band or some other foreign band who for some reason or other gains a big following outside of your home country over time thanks to fans hosting mp3's of your music on a tribute site or a file sharing client, eventually leading you to gain enough popularity to tour in America and release a CD there, would you still be pissed at the fans for stealing your music and want to sue them even though it helped you widen your fanbase more than a $40 import CD could?
@Death2Bigots Mainly I'm only pissed that people settle for compressed MP3's at 128kbps (sometimes you can find them at 320 but it's still compressed). If everyone became an audiophile then piracy would go way down, at the most just to have something as a reference song and then if it's something the person likes they would buy the CD for all of it's uncompressed glory :-) (or download from iTunes...slightly less compressed audio but still...)
whould you steal a car? would you steal a movie? would you shoot a police man? whould you then steel his helmet? then would you use his helmet to take a crap in? then would you send it to his greiven widow? then would you steal it again?
