Read / listen to Chomsky. A bias exists, that much is certain. But we ought to be careful about how we define it. It's not just pro-republican bias or pro-liberal, it's pro-administration, pro-authority bias. A bias toward believing and trusting existing institutions, and a bias against individuals having control over the things that affect their lives.

And, there's absolutely no question there's a pro-corporate bias (as evidenced by coverage of the banking crisis.)
