Great touch ... thank you for posting ... next time would you consider a camera angle where the view can see all fingering and picking at the same time ... again thank you for posting ...
Thanks for comment and suggestion. Please realize that this was captured with a "cell phone" at a very spontaneous moment. The results are excellent! We are very fortunate to have this. Not to mention the steady hand on that phone. The lighting is fine, right? So he missed a couple frets in the open position. This angle is very cool and frames the guitar wonderfully. In the old days most great artists such as Marco would never let anyone so close.
Wow a cell phone... that is amazing ... not complaining at all please know I am very appreciate of the post ... and yes, very fortunate to have this ... I was just making a suggestion and didnt' realize it was done with a cell phone... again thank you for posting ... Don ...
@SoloGuitaristNet ....why not?afraid of other briiliant guitarrists to copy progressions??...i´d never understand that....can you explain that to me please?thanks.
Fantastic, Marco Porcu! You have a very great musical personality! It shines so splendidly in this video. Hope you do more like this . . . and you made the guitar? WOW!!!
Thanks! Marco is indeed a unique player. The guitar is a beauty isn't it? He designed it with the help of his friend, Romeo, but another friend, Bruno Barnes, actually built the guitar. There are fifteen rosewood ribs to the arched back, each separated by a thin maple strip. It is quite a jewel!!!
Pretty good pick technique!

have loved di meola's version for years but I dare say this was as good
mackhomie 3 years ago
As much as this seems to be a variation of the the Di Meola version, I have to agree. It's very good and at the least rivals Di Meola's version.
