I posted a video with 49. Did 70 at work on a bet but no video. The actual world record is more than I can hold in 2 hands. I could do 50 as a kid when the happy days episode came out but even back then the record was huge.

the world record for a perfect snatch (no drops) is 100 and was done by Dean Gould. He has caught over 300 coins in an attempt. They don't use coins though he used a 10p because the quarter is too small.

unfortunately, that's not a record. a few years back, I was obsessed with doing this... was up to approximately 35ish... thought I was near a record. So I researched Guinness Book... the official record is a man in England or Scotland with over 300 some odd coins.. it was nuts.. he stacks them into a cirlce, catches them all.

in 1976 the world record for coin snatching with pennies was 60 my dad almost held a world record he had caught 57 of them and now the world record is 328 pennies.

its not a record!!!! he only has 44, two of the quarters were on the back of his hand, and never caught them, watch closely, two of them just appear off the back of his hand when he first puts them on the table to count them

@miketurber I think what happened was you had some in between your fingers from when you caught them and they just happened to fall backwards giving the impression that they were on "the back of your hand"

OK I figured out what you were talking about. The coins were not on the back of my hand at all. If you look closer and especially in slow motion you will see the 2 coins are in the palm of my hand and when I open my hand you can clearly see then slip out between my index and middle finger and onto the pool table. But who cares now as I am about to post the new world record which SHATTERS this one! Enjoy and most importantly have fun but not at someone's expense. Best Regards,

I did 34 today with only one stack aligned. It took two and a half hours of practice to get that far. I'm only seventeen years old, so I am at a disadvantage with my hands being smaller.

Anyway, I really wished I recorded it, but my camera no longer works. I'll have to search out for another one in the house.

Good job, by the way. Maybe one day I'll beat you...

Awesome! Keep practicing and get that video in so I can post it. I am making a complete series of videos on the Quarter challenge which will also show some tips. Just remember when you do record it that to qualify for a record the coins must be caught with your palm down, meaning no scooping. Also keep your hand in view of the camera all the way from the catch and through the count.
