I'm fascinated by a couple things... one is that the solo on the 2 Rock clip is better than the Fuchs clip. The amps are not dialed in with the same settings. So it may not be a real representation of what the Fuchs could sound like. The other question is if this is the 100 watt CRS? If so, it will sound better than a 50 w Fuchs. Also the hand tuned Fuchs sounds better than the stock model and is still about $1400. less than the Two Rock.
Pretty cool comparison. Fantastic playing as well. Great recording quality. How do you like the 421? Also wondering if you adjusted the gain trimmer inside the Fuchs. Really effects the character of the OD. Can't go wrong with either amp :-) Again great job and thanks for sharing!!
I like them both, but the TR seemed to be more articulate, where as the fuchs was a bit thicker and a bit mesh-ier. Both sound excellent though, and great playing ;)
You should try and look for a TR Emerald Pro. It's a GREAT amp for Ford tones!
Yes I like the Fuchs a bit better, thanks for this comparison...goood Isolation setup...
The TwoRock has some slightly obnoxious git in the low middle which the Fuchs does not...

I preferred the sound of the fuchs...both sounded awesome but just thought the Fuchs was slightly smoother to my ears.

Surprisingly, I pick Fuchs over the Two Rock. BUT How can you pick one over the other in this case??

I'm a Two Rock fan, but I'd pick up a Fuchs if I came across a good deal.

Very nice! Does the "EQ2" setting relate to the "Jazz" switch of an ODS? Did youhave the Preamp boost engaged?

@guitarelaxed
Thanks. Yes,EQ2 is similar to Jazz switch.
and no boost.

Hi,
ok, i see, as i play a lot on the clean chanels, i will probably buy the Two Rock this year if i can .
Do you have the Two Rock cab too ? I would probably go for the 1x12 cab sig, but not sure yet.
Thanks again !

Superb playing !,
I vote for the Two Rock ! but they are both absolutely
amazing amps thought.
The Two Rock has little more harmonics and articulates,
the fuchs drive sound a little darker to me maybe...
Thanks a lot for the review !
What about the clean sound now ??, that would interest me even more.
bye
Ben.

Thanks for comments.
I love TwoRock's clean sound, which is fat and beautiful musical sound especially around bottom frequency.
Fuchs clean sound is less bottom, you may need clean boost pedal such as RC booster.

421 is pretty cool, but be careful for mic arrangement. I did many times rearrangement.
I did adjust inner Trim of ODS(preHigh Gain postHigh), but default trim setting was best. So I re-adjust back to default.

Yes, I agree about Fuchs's sound.
Sometines that sound is useful for particular occasion. -)
This comparison is only for deep over drive sound like Ford tones of Talk to your d.
