@SSummers4Prez LOL, yeah, I grew up in the Texas Northeast jurisdiction under Bishop Haynes. Jokes about his legendary "all business" cold and aloof demeanor abound. For example there's one about his coming so close to becoming Presiding Bishop in 2007 and not getting it resulting in his becoming depressed. I suppose familiarity also breeds ridicule.

@SSummers4Prez Milton Miller....Bishop Haynes was "demoted" pretty much because of his own selfish and under the table doings. He tried with everything in him to have Bishop Blake pulled down from being the Presiding Bishop. He had meetings in Dallas with other Bishops asking them to support him and go against Bishop Blake. He sent out letters all over trying to destroy Bishop Blake�s credibility and "name". Bishop Haynes was even a part of this nasty "Bible girl" article.
