  • That is a very good question. What you have to remember is that you are not there to lift weight. You are there to work your muscles. So, the ammount of resistance, ie weight, is irrelovent compared to the intensity at which you perform the exercise. Instead of going for heavy weight, try some high volume sets of 25-100 reps. That way you totaly work the muscle regardless of the weight on the machine. I do 5-6 sets of 100 bottom reps then 4 sets heavy for 10 full range reps. Play with it!
