  • Always loved this song. Smooth as silk and never knew it had a video! Classic.

  • Un artista che comincia facendo bebop, genere comunque marginale, si evolve, rivoluziona l'universo jazz e finisce col collaborare nella realizzazione di un pezzo hip hop è sicuramente da annoverare tra i migliori di sempre.

  • Being named after Miles, is probably the greatest thing ever:)

  • Quality

  • This was his last album before he died...Amazing stuff!

  • Damn, i'm in love with this song for a couple of years, but never knew they shot a video! You just made my day, thanks!

BTW: Easy Moe Bee worked also with Biggie on "Ready to Die" and "Life After Death".

  • GUYS! miles didn't go with rap, very recent songs like this one, duke booty (even not on youtube but awesome stuff) and etc, were recorded when he was playing for himself in a room (trumpet solo) and then have been edited rap and other beat stuff.

  • @leajuris

This was his last album. Six of the tracks were completed before he died. Check out

    wiki/Doo-Bop for more info. Peace...

  • Too bad the video was shot after he died. "Doo-Bop" is a dope album. Peace.

  • hey who says history is best served cold?

  • Amazing to Say He still sounds Crispy as Modern & still Fresh! Kickin on Still today!

  • It's said people call Miles Davis a sell-out. As if it's bad to make money. Yet, he made money with his albums while still being a credible artist, making something genuine, moving, and down right bad ass. I think many labelled him as such because he broke away from the traditions they liked, forgetting jazz always blurred the lines of genres.

God bless you Miles. I expect if there were a rapture, you'd be the one playing that great horn!

  • hip hop is jazz for the people that dont know

  • @musiclover77able I seen this video on BET's Rap City in 1992. Like this if you love the early 90's music

  • @rcd2c2 Finally, a very, very, very good music!!!

  • hip hop and jazz will always be the best combination hip hop has ever had to adapt to

  • DISLIKE TVOXI MAMAN CHZARTNI)))))))

  • So tight.

  • the rappers were a group call rappin is fundamental in the early 90"s

  • I have been trying to figure out the name of this song for years now. I was thinking it said B-Bop sound. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

  • cool,too much coll.

  • Love this album. Got it years ago and great travel tunes. Miles Rocks.

  • dis is da shit man,i remember when dis was released in nz in da 90s,a friend of mine was spinning it on da club scene bac then.still sounds fresh

  • Brilliant...

I choose this song in highschool for an english presentation :-) I enjoy doing so, but as expected nobody ever heard of Miles.....

  • This is the material Miles was in the works with them on when he died in 1991. Hence why he wasn't in the video in person with them.

  • maravilha, groove total!

  • dope

  • Rap + Jazz = The perfect combination!

  • @PoeticalTechnique - 100% - this track is the jump-off point for the future of all real music - something beyond Hip-Hop ? something called Super-Jazz ? Hip-Hop + Jazz = Super-Jazz ? Miles have laid the foundation stone - do he have any followers ?

  • This was my shaaaat! Love this jazzy/hip/hop collabo joint! So relaxing and carefree!

  • I used to work at Musicland back in 90-91 during college and we played this everyday during the lunch rush. I loved this song then and still do!

  • 92 miles got into the rap scene with easy mo bee. and i beieve it was a great move!

  • finally!!!!!!!!!!!! very very very good look

  • The only method that works is the one I found at ez-casino(dot)com, you don't have to risk your money, it's perfect! :-)

  • still so actual! I bought the vinile in the late 80s (if I am not wrong) I was a teen ager... the successive LP I bought was the next week appetite for destruction from GnR... a bit ecclettic dont you think so? Anyway great song from a great album

  • cause "he was" the best! ;)

  • when was this released? i didn't know Miles got into the rap scene...

  • @svm12345 It was released 1992

  • @Ironblade1088 Miles Davis actually fucked wit the rap scene pretty hard back in the day. especially jazz rap

  • the same years i was born which was pure classic soul and hiphop

i bless my parents 4 dat

  • @svm12345 Right before he died, he was all about staying up with the latest music.

  • @svm12345 miles davis started the rap scene man (jazz rap)

  • this is the last record he recorded before his death..... HIP HOP BABY & JAZZ Perfect Combination!

  • @svm12345 this was released after death of miles davis.he didn't end this album.marcus miller finished it.and those rapers

  • very very very nice thanks for the nice clip

  • Miles...so cool. I really dig this album. Thanks for posting.

  • Didn't know that Easy Mo Bee also kicks rhymes! But I always liked his productions. One of my favorite producers. And everytime I hear Miles playing, I get the urge to learn playing the trumpet.

  • Miles plays deceptively relaxed and easy-going trumpet over simple beats and raps - Doo-Bop is one of the greatest albums I have ever listened to - in just 9 short songs he represents the 'Totality-of-Music-Itself' - Musical Sleight-Of-Hand at its Apex - MILES AT HIS PEAK - one last wink before he left us all

  • i love Miles Davis

  • Mo Bee is the last one, isn´t he? Legendary producer.

It was said Miles Davis had sold out because of this album (his last one, a hip-hop album with Mo Bee producing); he was making it because rap was in fashion, they said... Well, you see the result so many years later: a great joint, classic flavor in it.

  • l love miles

  • Cold shyt. Shyt cold.

  • respect miles!

  • mo bee iz a legend do yo research baby boy

  • @Ironblade1088 Finally!!! if there are any more clips from this album- please post!!!! :)))

  • @jbreezy103 rappin is fundamental

  • Good music for real ;-)

  • Thanks for uploading this. I use music to teach African American History and included this in a lesson called the History of Jazz. Most of my students had never heard it, but grooved to it immediately. They were shocked that it was Miles Davis. He was called a "sellout" by some jazz purists, but I viewed him as a visionary. I heard it on a few hip hop stations, but I don't think they knew what to do with it. It is one of the best hip hop songs ever. Classic Miles, lead don't follow.

  • my dad is in that video. hes the guy with the huge glasses. but since 2pac died, he wasnt able to create anymore music :(
