Some people feel they get the best results from yelling, some don't. Big deal. The Steyn kicks were awesome, but then so are the fieldgoals by Jason Elam. But it's pretty pointless to make generalizations by comparing individual efforts. NFL kickers routinely kick 65-70 yard kick offs for distance.

@akinrinmade00 He's not trying to kick between the posts, he's just going for distance. And I find them rugby balls easier to get a bit more distance with so that's why they're kicking it similar distances despite the much bigger run up.

nice boot. Just wondering what's up with the stutter before your field goals though? I'm guessing the ST coaches/Scouts didn't like that... You look solid on consistency though. Anything come of it yet?

@kickingworld he is prob an ex soccer player judging by his kick...that would explain the stutter

@manunited910 The stutter is called a jab step...its used for better timing toward the ball so that you build your speed slow to fast, and then an explosion through the ball

@zach26 Not the way he does it. Jab steps should be a lot faster than that. He has almost a spasm in the foot, it isn't a jab.
