"MGM PARADE" was an imitation of "DISNEYLAND", in which the studio's "good will ambassador", George Murphy, presided over segments featuring old theatrical shorts and cartoons, highlights from "classic" MGM features, and "interview" segments with current MGM stars "plugging" their latest picture- including this segment from February 1956, when "Forever Darling" was released. "MGM PARADE" was cancelled in May '56- even after Walter Pidegon replaced George Murphy as host during the final months.
