yeah but what i understand is when they use a geep 40 or something with out a generator for passenger service they use it, last i herd it was still in morris park
@TrainGuy18 About 13 years ago, LIRR was getting the custom made EMD DE30 and DM30. They replaced the GP38-2s which pulled the C1 Bi-Levels. They also chopped off the cab of an ALco FA and made it into an HEP Generator. Now LIRR has Kawasaki C3 Bi-Levels with DE and DM30s.
Everytime I take the "Capitol Limited" Chicago to Washington. I sit in the lounge car with maps out. And look accross the river valley at the WM right of way, wishing I could of had at least one ride on "Wild Mary's"" Blue Mountain Express" out of Baltimore.
Is #305 still running on the WMSR?

305 was never a real WM engine, It was a Canadian built VIA engine. It was sold to a tourist railroad in Ohio and now is painted up in B&O colors

@TrainGuy18 I believe it's just sitting in Morris Park. I have to check up about that.
