Love Delphino Plaza. Not big. Not small. Minimal threat of being easily edgeguarding. Close borders. The stage gives no character advantages and its movement keeps it interesting. Plus, the music is nastolgic and the scenery is pretty sweet.

Easily my favorite stage.

Out of all the mario games I've played sunshine is number one on my list. I grew up with 64 sure, but sunshine was amazing! Galaxy 1 blew me away and Galaxy 2 I was in the stratosphere! But it's always good to go back to good old gamecube, bust out sunshine and crack a coconut and enjoy a trophical mario game.

people say that super mario sunshine ruined mario, i beg to differ. this game was one of my personal favorites of all mario games because it throws mario into a new more exotic and tropical location which still has all the things we love about mario and it offers new gameplay tactics as well as beautifully designed levels and water textures. i found myself hooked on this more then any other mario game i have ever played =D

@MikeyManVideos no. it was an awkward system between two revolutionaries, its signature titles were awful, and it made use of an absolutely horrible sound chip when the music wasn't from extraneous sources, like it was in Fire Emblem. listening to the Skies of Arcadia port gave me heartburn.

@Atma505 Hey, it wasn't THAT bad. I do DEFINITELY agree with the sound chip, but mostly because half of everything was MIDI, and bad MIDI, at that. Other than that, the graphics were really good aside from some ports of games (like the Need for Speed games were fucking ATROCIOUS!) and it handled WAV and MP3 files amazingly IMO. Listen to about half of the SSBM soundtrack and you'll know what I mean, specifically what I believe is Battlefield and Fountain of Dreams.
