  • Just take a moment to think back to this series. . . then think about all the "Reality" TV crap they dish up today. It seems there are no proper writers with imagination left anymore. No proper producers or directors. Just knock out cheap, phone in, garbage to feed the 21st century, moronic, compensation / benifit / uneducated society.

    Thank god I'm old enough to remember the good times.

  • Not to get too sentimental but this scene really encapsulates this show. Jim loves his Dad and we all feel that here. Everyone can relate to this scene. Its the OMG here he goes again!!!. Very sweet.  I truly love this show.

  • @putdownan8dude It's a real shame some of the post 1977 episodes don't get shown as often in re-runs. There were plenty of classics among them too. Cool avatar BTW , Bonzo is a legend ;-)

  • @jexplink The best Rockfords IMO are anything with Fred Beamer (I fall out of my chair laughing watching those!!) James Whitmore Jr is the idiot of idiots!! And Lance White. Garner and Selleck were BRILLIANT together
