  • The best tank motor is made by Ukraine, OPLOT tanks can run at maximum speed on the desert sand without problems, if I see a video with a japanese tank doing that maybe it will be considerate for other countries.

  • i will compare only 2 things ..

WHO WINS ?? FACK OFF or FACK YOU ??

i say both FACK OFF AND FACK YOU IDIOT !!

  • it`s funny

  • GERMAN FOR SURE

  • '

    which one this gear,,,

    automatic transmission or manual shift

  • Tank with MT is the best

  • Jap techn beats any country....

  • fappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fapfappp fapp fap fap fap fap

  • @Catchaspoon the french and british could have invaded germany while their main force was fighting in poland.

  • So...........that transmission is a fail? But Type 10 is like a child of S-tank and Leopard 2...........just pray you don't meet one in the mountains.

  • you guys who always relate japan to ww2 dont realize japan now is completely different noow from what they used to be they used to be.

  • CVT is still fairly new, but I think it will eventually displace all previous types. Just need people to get used to the lack of any sort of shift.

  • @ParanoidGallows

Yeah, they only dominated the world for 4 years, and came out with the best planes, tanks, and weapons ever produced.

  • @stak3d1 You mean dominated Europe? And some Islands in the pacific? For a short period of time? They began losing the war pretty fast., Chief. Some weapons and planes were good. But when it comes to WW2, Russia's T-34 tank is widely regarded as the best tank every produced. And you can say whatever you like, you can cut it whatever way you like, but bottom line, end of story. They lost.......

  • @Catchaspoon well, try winning a war against nearly the whole world. of course you will fail. it is actually pretty embarassing how long it took to defeat germany. they had to spread their forces around whole of europe and north africa.

  • @SuperLittleHelper How long do you think it should have taken? You have to realize they took over so much ground because they moved so fast. Entire countries were covered in Germans and lost before they even knew a war was going on. Once the real fighting started well, it was fighting. War is a very slow process. It takes a lot of time to move an army, let alone move an army while fighting someone the whole way.

  • @Catchaspoon One thing never taken into account when talking about the T-34 is that if russia had been producing panthers and germany T-34's, the panther would have been considered the best tank. Saying that the T-34 is the best tank is really a matter of opinion.

  • @ivanlagrossemoule Anything can be called a matter of opinion. But I highly doubt the opinion of the T-34 would change. Especially when compared to the Panther.

  • @Catchaspoon

That is a serious over exaggeration. The T-34 is considered great by a wide spectrum of traits. Firepower and armor are not among those. T-34's eventually won because there were way too many of them to handle. A small group, not to mention a single unit, were nigh useless against German counterparts.

T-34's were pretty much tin cans on tracks - easy/cheap to produce. That's pretty much it.

In comparison, German tanks were beasts. Hell, individual Tigers downed tens of T-34's.

  • @Kevooi The big guns on the Tigers should have been used against aircraft not tanks .remember the Typhoons and and Sturmoviks and Thunderbolts downed tens of big German tanks.

  • Respond to this video... The Mark four was the actual workhorse of the German army and comprised the majority of their armor throughout the war.

  • @Kevooi A serious over exaggeration? How so? What makes a good tank? Exactly what you described..No tank has ever been so cheap and easy to produce while being so effective since the T-34. Which is why it's widely regarded as the best tank ever. And German tanks were hardly "Beasts". The majority of the time the German tanks were fighting against superior armor, especially against the British in Africa They won because they had superior leadership and were years ahead in armored fighting tactics

  • @Kevooi You can throw down Tigers and King Tigers and Panthers names all you want but the reality is there were so few of them it really didn't make a difference how effective they were. When they were actually operational...And find me an instance where a Tiger rocked tens of T-34s and we'll talk. If you want to learn something so you don't sound so foolish on youtube I recommend reading "Panzer Battles: A Study of the Employment of Armor in the Second World War" by Major General von Mellenthin

  • @Kevooi That book should be able to shed some light on the realities of armored warfare the Germans faced during World War 2.

  • ONE ENGINE IS INDUSTRIAL ONE EASY TO CHANGE OR REPAIR AND ONE IS EXCLUSIVE FOR TANKS AND EXTREME DIFICULT TO REPAIR

    MEANS LEOPARD2 WINS

  • @SpanishInAustralia most tanks are like that now a days though, including the abrams.

  • @tehatemachine abrams still the same , is the most expensive tank to maintain in the world

and his consume of oil is very high

  • @SpanishInAustralia yeah it is expensive, but it can pretty much run on almost anything, vegitable oil, you name it. And it's also SILKY smooth, but the smooth throttle is kinda delayed (which is common with turbines) Still has a fuck ton of power that they have to limit,

  • @tehatemachine is not true can´t run easy in all places in the desert dust storm can ruin the engine of the abrams

the best engines are from russia that thanks are like ak47 never brakes

  • @SpanishInAustralia every tank has it's flaws, and even the russian tanks requires hours of maintenance. Sprockets need to be lubed, engines need have their oil changed or rebuilt. i'd say most modern diesel engines are on par with eachother. You don't have to do that much to diesels anyway.

  • What a complete nonsense! The second tank did not accelerate after the first shift at all! if it would have shifted up til the 4th gear, you could at least heard the down reving of its engine.

  • and the tank can drifting

  • bullshit the Japanese tank i have heard from Japanese NEWS the JP tank go up to 90km/h

  • Comment removed

  • Japanese military always respect German military.

And Japanese Tank resembles German Tank . :D

  • without atomic bomb, japs will surely win ww2.

  • @blackchoc777 you re stupid, the problem was germany is in the middle of europe and japan is a island, u know what i mean?

  • @blackchoc777 US was already on Okinawa. The Soviets were already on the north.

    Keep dreaming.

  • @blackchoc777 lol They lost long before that bomb dropped. They said so themselves.

  • What's the meaning of this vid? It has no use whatsoever =)

  • germany has made many inventions that have been taken and added to the M1 tank

  • While I have a no doubt that Type 10 is a formidable Tank, I feel that Japanese tend to spend their effort in things that's not really important. While type 10's engine sounds quieter with gear shift, which shows that perhaps it's more refined, for all intention and purposes of a combat tank, it means Squat. It doesn't say anything about the combat superiority of the Tank.

  • Thanks to Ciccio!

We are lucky, that freedom has a price now.

    Ferrari's transmission is the best.

  • Umm.... CVT aren't supposed to have gear changes. Listen closely. The engine's revs remain constant. This means the transmission can use peak power of the engine at all times.

  • хуйня!

  • Germans know how to build their tanks the japanese never really had much credibility. Their type 90 had many problems and don't get me started on how laughably pathetic their tanks were in WWII. Making a smaller and lighter tank doesn't work for tanks. If you're going to go small and light you might as well build something else other thank a tank.

  • ONLY BECAUSE THE TYPE 10 IS A FUCKING rc CAR.

  • What's the name of the background music?

  • I like my tanks like my cars... I like the quality BMW over a cheap Suzuki

  • WoW i´m impressed!! XD

  • CVT might have some advantage in the geographical features with a lot of ups and downs, but it is not important factor in the wide battle field with gentle slopes in europa.

  • @Disgorge2fuckusa I doubt the validity of that report. Got a source?

Leo2 had light armor, and the fire controls were still superior to the T72. The armor was too, about ~25% better, but it was too heavily optimized towards HEAT round protection. T72 always had a great gun, but its range was limited by the poor fire controls, even on top models.

Even the current Leo2A6 still lacks the armor it needs; it has about 1000mm on the turret, versus the ~1400 on the A2SEP abrams or ~1800+ on Chal2

  • @redreaper2020

What a amount of BS claims...

The Leo2 A6 frontal turret armor is rated with 1750-1960mm RHAe ..thats second to non ..no other tank on earth has currently a better turret front protection.

    To compare M1A2 1320-1630mm RHAe, T90S 580-1340mm RHAe, T80UD 960-1450mm RHAe, T84 1250-1600mm RHAe

The T-72 could never match the Leo2 and the T-72 tanker feared the Leo2 a lot!

  • @nagmashot

The Challenger2 frontal protection is bisquite ..it is so weak that in 2006 a RPG-29 penetrated the frontal glassis + the ERA and wounded the driver... 1800mm bisquite armor ..LOL

btw the frontal penetration was confirmed by british defence ministery ..the wounded driver was Trooper Sean Chance he lost three toes

  • @nagmashot armor has multiple weak spots. A shot up the ass on an abrams, or the rear-side on a leo, will still crap it out. If he lost toes, it was probably lower frontal armor, which is typically a lot thinner than the 1800mm top frontal armor. That's part of why most tanks have flaps on the lower front, to blow up RPGs before they hit.

  • @nagmashot I doubt your claims. M1A2SEP and Chal2 have superior armor by far to any adversary. Chobham-type armor is superior to leo2's spaced/perforated against all types of rounds. The practicality, maintainability, and logistical mobility of the abrams is questionable. But its survivability and battlefield mobility are still top-notch. Its armor is also "derated" as disinformation.

And a T-72 would reasonably fear Leo2. In the cold war, Leo2 had twice the armor and gun range of a T72!

  • @redreaper2020 on what sources are your claim based? You have nothing to back up them..Leo´s weak armor is a internet rumor of UK US fanboys!

The Leo2 is a huge selling success the reason why its called Euro Leopard.. neither the M1A2 Challenger or Leclerc can claim that..all lost direct compares in tank trails (Sweden, Greece, Spain) I once talked with a Merkave battalions comander what tank he would choose as alternative to the Merkava.. without thinking he claimed Leo2 clear message

  • @disgorge2fuckusa you know NOTHING about armored vehicles. Far more than 12 T-72Ms were destroyed in the first gulf war. And you seem to know nothing at all about the the war. If you're going to have a radical doctrine, at least back it up with facts. The fact is, the abrams is a good tank. It is not the best tank in the world, but it's undeniably good, better than a T72M. 2x the armor, 50% more range, and twice the effective engine power. You can't argue against it.

  • @Disgorge2fuckusa The T72M could NOT destroy the abrams from that distance. I know because i've seen with my own eyes ballistics reports on T72 guns fired at 1000m, and they couldn't penetrate frontal upper hull armor even with multiple hits. They didn't use SAND, they used a low-shatter fused-silica type composite, the composition is known as Comp-K and was first used operationally on the T-64, still an effective composite

If you're gonna go "hurr this sux", at least have your facts straight.

  • @Disgorge2fuckusa yes as we know, T72s TOTALLY wiped the floor with the Abrams in the gulf.

M1's not the world's best tank, but it's a damn good one.

  • I think Japan and Germany make an amazing team

Germans are good with science (Therefore they can make blueprints for the machines)

And Japans good at making technology (So they can take the blueprints, and mass produce them)

  • @SimplicityInItself close, but actually.. Germans have been almost exceptional in the field of mechanical engineering, and japan has been exceptional in the field of electronic design. Pair the two together and you will have a formidable system.

  • @SimplicityInItself

The last time that Germany and Japan paired up, it didn't work very well.

  • @ParanoidGallows lol no it didnt XD nazi's lol got pwned stopped and held captive for years

  • @ParanoidGallows It's because of Japanese stupid general who decide

to attack America. Technology of them both are very effective in battle.

have you forgot Panzer and King Tiger already?

They hunt Sherman and Crusader 2 like a shark hunting a seal.

Praise to Axis technology from Thailand.

  • @ParanoidGallows but that was when they were the bad guys, it think they would make a good team

  • @ParanoidGallows was just because of the distance between the countries. thank god, that they werent closer together. today it would be different, japan has one badass army, you know the allied casualities in ww2 done by the japanese army. get an idea what would happen today.

  • @ParanoidGallows thats called bullshit we all know it was hitler and manipulation

  • @ParanoidGallows ahahaha japan and germany didnt really pair up then. they never worked very closely.

  • @theswampthinker Literally xD

  • @ParanoidGallows They didn't pair up.

  • @SimplicityInItself where have you been this past century.

  • @StunnedMutha What do you mean o.o

  • @SimplicityInItself sorry, just a WWII reference ;)

  • @SimplicityInItself Japanese are good a commercializing stuff. They take what is in AMerican R &D labs and bring them to market. German engineering is good too.

  • @SimplicityInItself Yes, an excellent team. It makes one wonder why they've never gotten together in the past?

  • @SimplicityInItself But Japan didn't made Attack Weapons like heavy and medium tanks since the WW II peace pact. But It's a good idea. German blueprints Japan Technology.

  • Comment removed

  • @SimplicityInItself - Then it turns out the brakes don't work ;)

  • giant auto tranny turbo diesel

  • Wake up everybody. Still living in WWII era ? German engineering is the thing of the past. They are shoddy and high maintenance these days.

Innovation truly comes from Japan these days. They know how to take something and make it the best there is !

  • @TechCrazy cant say that considering theyre not tested in combat.....only 2 (off the top of my head please correct if im wrong) have, and thats the m1 abrams and the challenger 2 and of those the challenger 2 was better suited for the task in hand (e.g in city enviroments, anywhere i.e.d's are in use as it has the best survivability of any tank "tested in combat" and even when "taken out" the tank was back up and running hours later)

  • @calumknight1984 Canada has been using the Leo2 in Afghanistan

  • @Redfox161616 didnt know that either way challenger 2 is still better suited for the role, its taken hits the abrams and leapard simply cant take and survive (or the crew survive and tank is wrecked). Leapard and m1 abrams were designed with tank vs tank battles in mind, the challenger 2 was made with armour protection in mind which is better suited for urban enviroments (not by design, bit of a fluke thats what modern wars have boiled down to)

  • @TechCrazy ...ehm, Leopard 1 came out in the 60s and was amazing. Leopard 2 came out in the 70s and was and still is state of the art! Most modern battletanks use german technology, for example the guns. So, of course Japan got amazing technology, but german engineering is anything but a thing of the past. ;)

  • @Cougar545x39 : You know where the barrels of the new MBT for the US Military comes from? Japan !

    Precision !

Now to your point. The gun barrel design was based on a Tiger tank from Germany.

Now for some history. The tank as well as the Jet engine were invented by the British ! Perfected by germans during WWII and has remained that way ever since will remain that way going forward. Why? Todays war scenario has changed. Its all about smart bombs and missiles than brute force.

  • @TechCrazy yea, british invented tanks, but i would say a tank is based on sth like a car (dont now, cant explain it better in english) and cars are from germany :D

  • @Anonymuskid hmm...cars are not from germany, maybe if you talk about definition of car but if you talk about invention it's chinese. Chinese make first motorized TOY car. Germans make bigger version. So Chinese invented car.

  • @AdrianoCROST carl benz invented the first car iwth a modern engine, so he invented the modern car

  • @Anonymuskid Invetion of car and invention of gasoline engine are two different things. Just look how fast you change your story.

From invention of car you come to invention of MODERN car. And even that is not correct. What is modern car ? Car with Gasoline, Diesel or Electric engine ? You FAIL ! Cars existed much before that German car (electric and steam engine). If you still think that one that invented fuel engine is inventor of car think again ?

  • @AdrianoCROST car is for me the modern car, and the modern car was invented by the german carl benz, my main language is german, and i learn english in school atm, so im not so good in debating. But carl benz definately invented the modern car and the modern engine, that is used in tanks, so no engine-> no tank. you can say that somebody else invented the car but wen you think about it u may notice that evrybody who hear the word car will think that a car is sth else than a chassis with a modern

  • @Anonymuskid engine wich is invented by carl benz

  • @Anonymuskid You just read somewhere that Germans invented car but you can't think for yourself. Germans puted fuel engine on the chasis but before that there are electric and steam cars. Engine type doesn't make car invention but engine. Car without fuel engine is not a car ? Are you sure ?

  • @AdrianoCROST so the engine that tanks use are invented in germany

  • @TechCrazy which MBT is that??

  • @malsahth : M1 Abrams.

  • @malsahth Really? I'm pretty sure the Abrams is still using the German designed barrels :S

  • @TechCrazy yeah by taking a German invention and coppying it XD...........

    is that what you mean?

anyways, Japan could never and will never be at the same level as far as Weapons and Weapon systems......

Germany has been at the top of this category for over 100 years....

they may not be able to manufacture the most... but by hell it is the best, no doubt...

German Philosophy : Qaulity over Quantity

  • Japanese equipment is garbage i mean they may spend less the 1% of there GDP on military but they could atleast put effort into there work

  • japan dont need no tank but ships.

  • sorry nonono Leopard (from Germany) is the best in world Tank

  • Hydraulic CVT's are nice. But are they as easy to replace? How often does it need servicing? Do they leak/spill as much as excavators and fork lifts do?

Also this is comparing an old but still one of (if not) the best MBT's with a completely new generation of MBT's.

But I do see a lot of potential for hydraulic tools using hydraulic PTO's.

  • Nothing beats German engineering, nuff said.

  • all i have to say.. watch?v=RrJXPowEWk0

  • should see the new german artillery howitzer ahah.. can shoot 25 miles!! and can shoot insanely fast. check it out on Future weapons

  • best tank in the world ... probably something WWII prototype, what is never built ... and it's german :D

  • It will work well for its size. A main battle tank wouldnt do good in some areas in japan...The ten is smaller and more compact then most tanks. Allow it to do those tight street manuvers needed in mountain towns and heavy aresa.

  • CVT is cool! If or when Type 10 will come into production it will became the first MBT, which can drive ahead and rear at the same speed. Current modern tanks have 30km/h top speed in rear-gear. Type 10 will have 70km/h.

  • @BitnikGr

reverse speed is not a matter of transmission but the brake system... tanks like the Leopard2 or Merkava have as the main brake system abouve 30km/h a Retarder brake (installed in the transmission) the conventional disk brake system is only for speeds under 30km/h... Retarder brake only work in one direction the reason why they do not work in reverse and the revers speed of tanks like the Leopard is limited to the disk brake capability. The Type 10 will have the same revers limit

  • @nagmashot actually no, the issue is transmission design and saving weight and shaft-size by eliminating highspeed rearward gears. Various types of retarder and engine-based brakes exist and they work both ways in nearly all cases. The Type 10 wouldn't have that limit, as it's a CVT, and probably will do most of its breaking via CVT ratio changing (to make the engine drag the speed down, similar to downshifting a car).

  • @redreaper2020

Tank used retarder brakes can only work in one direction ...

The Leo2 has3 forward and 2 reverse gears do you realy belive it would be a problem to add a thrid revers gear?

So the Type 10 would be the fastest fleeing tank from the enemy... cool record

  • @nagmashot "So the Type 10 would be the fastest fleeing tank from the enemy... cool record"

If reverse speed is not important, then why everyone usually counts it as a pros for NATO tank? So, right now Abrams, Leo, Challenger, Leclerc, Merkava are the fastest "fleeing tanks" from the enemy? No... Reverse speed is indeed very important. Defense positions of tank units have 2 and some times even 3 lines of defense. In defensive battle they often have to change position. With speeds like 30km/h...

  • @nagmashot .. or even faster tank commander can go to the second line of defense without turning vulnerable rear side to the enemy. And this is an advantage indeed.

  • @nagmashot Well, I've driven heavy tractors and trucks using the same type of retarder brake, and it doesn't have an issue in reverse. Engine-mounted retarders don't have to change direction.

And the Type 10 would probably be the fastest fleeing. Tanks have higher reverse gearing than cars since you tend to, in armored doctrine, hold a hill unitl the enemy gets close, then you power-reverse, and hit the next hill to defend, always staying hull down in defense. :D

  • @nagmashot and, um, even if you watch the video, leo2 has a 4+O trans. :P

  • @nagmashot Jake brakes work both ways. the hydraulic retarder can be changed from roadwheel mounting to engine mounting very easily.

  • @nagmashot They claim otherwise... We'll have to wait and see.

  • @BitnikGr actually no, the Leopard 2 has a top speed of 68–72 km/h.

  • @BitnikGr oh i see. my mistake xD damn

  • @BitnikGr

Lier T-90 top speed was 82kms....search google noob.

  • @DJMikaelito What a fuck are you talking about? What T-90 has to do with anything said here? Did I mention anything about T-90? Noob :)

  • @BitnikGr

T-90 is the fastest tank in the world.....google

  • @DJMikaelito Even if it is, what it has to do with what I said about CVT gear box and REAR speed? Does T-90 drive faster than 70km/h backward? :)

  • @BitnikGr

dont know about backwards haha alla pistepse me ama xreiasti 8a to efeuresoune borei kai idi na iparxei....8a doume ti dorakia mas epifilasei to T-95 =)

xmm auto den to i3era adelfe s euxaristo gia tin pliroforia.

  • M1A3 is better dude

  • the best tank is the right tank... if you shoot first at a longer distance you win... russian tanks can fire missles at twice the range of powder ammunitions... can your country tanks do that?

  • This is purely opinion, but:

    German Tanks > Japanese Tanks

  • looks like takeshis castle :/

  • I wonder if it comes with an LCD screen to watch japanese hentai and scat fetish videos. Its essential for every japs

  • Wow... this will be a great addition to japan's non-existent army

  • Probably, Japan tank has more little machine trouble like a car.

German tank needs to be fixed every month.

  • @newnihonsystem sure, thats why the leo 2 serie is the best tank in the world.

The type 10 is of course battle proven...........

The LEO 2 is, it saw action in Former Yugo.

And like any other tank it needs maintenance........

  • I think for best crafted tanks would be the Abrams and Leopard 2

  • japanese tanks sounds like my matchbox car when it gets on glass

  • Japan Type10 T is a good fuckin tank

no matter how you look at it...

  • German tanks rule. Period.

  • @TheNovaAxon well to be honest in WW2 they ruled when they worked....

  • @theoxtheory In WW2 i dont know about their operational readiness. Todays arsenal such as Leo2A5 and 9, compared to Leclerc, Merkava, Abrahms and the russian T series and the British tanks they perform outstanding. I have been a Leopard2A5 tankcommander for 3 years and have a little experience on the Abrahms and T80 but when it comes to crewsafety and fightingcapabilities i choose the Leo. I really like the low silouette of the russians though... Peace

  • CVT in a Tank ? Is that a Joke ?

  • @rogvr781

    watch?v=1s-yLXhRxxA

  • CVT sucks.

  • the later parts of the music sounds better

  • 天亡共狗!

  • '

    AUTO shift or manual shift

  • CVT won't get u out of the hands of a Hellfire or even an RPG-7

  • tanks are useless if you cant move them where you want them,I want to see japanese tankers and transport ships, same with germany.

  • uh... i doubt the T10 can match the Leopard 2, given that the Leopard 2 is a heavy tank and the T10 is more of a medium tank, that and the fact that the T10 has a price tag of $11M USD and a Leopard 2 is $4.5M each... I dont think its cost effective... then theres the M1A1... you drive one of those for a while, and you wont be able to have kids... ah the wonders of depleted uranium...

  • @Elc22 What the hell are you talking about? These aren't heavy or medium tanks... They're both Main Battle Tanks. In today's world, there's no such thing as a "medium or heavy tank" unless you look back to WW2. As for the M1A2, there is no difference between the M1 and the Leopard... They can both use depleted uranium ammunitions. Secondly, the ammunition is safe for the tank crews, otherwise, they wouldn't use the damn things.

  • @Tyco200 um, dude, the very fact that it weighs much less than the other MBTs probably means its less armored.

the M1A1 and the Leopard have somewhat different designs as well, the armor system is different, as far as i have heard, the M1A1 is more beefy than a Leopard when it comes to protecting its crew, though both are exceptional MBTs.

and i guess you havent heard of the complaints of US vets of Tank Brigades from the Gulf War having issues with the depleted uranium in the armor and ammo.

  • First of all this comparison is funny on its own... Why would you compare a German made tank to a Japanese tank???? We all know the Germans can beat everyone when it comes to tank design.

  • @halas1 Well considering the leapard was designed for the cold war its pretty much obsolete, engagements now are either UN peace keeping or fighting in places like afghanistan & so far only the challenger 2 tank has shown its suited for that. IED'S are now the main threat to tanks not other tanks, & considering the leapard is the most balanced tank (speed, armour, firepower) that tells me an IED would take it out considering the challenger 2 has the most protection of any tank in the world

  • @calumknight1984 I wasn't talking about the leopard 1 lol I meant the leopard 2..the one that is being compared in this video. I hate to say it buddy but even though the Challenger 2 has more armor, it is not as protected, due to the fact of how the armor is processed and spaced. You are right on the accuracy part though. The Challenger uses a rifled gun whereas the leopard 2 uses a smoothbore gun...but it really doesn't matter...the krauts are deadly with any type of weapon lets face it lol.

  • @halas1 *just slow as hell in comparison and doesnt have as powerful a gun (more accurate though) lol

  • It's too coastly (6.5 millions $) is just to much to make a tansmission produces less noise. The German Leopard is heavier so we expect it to shift gears toughly. You can simply compare Mercedes vs Mitsubishi. I think it's going to vanish with first hit of our big cat!

  • They way that u compare the gears is WRONG. give diagrams :/ u posted a random noise (dont know even if its leopards) and u compare it vith video LOL

  • m a japanese but ill say german made weapons are the best

  • Type 10 was not meant to compete with top of the line MBT. It's a low-cost medium tank. The real monster of JGSDF is the Type 90.

  • @milvipes The Type 90 based on the German Leopard 2. In many things is a copy the German main battle tank. Just a look on the design of the typ 90 make this visible.

  • @milvipes No, at a sham battle, only 3 type10 beated 14 type90 in several minutes.

  • @arstriker

Kinda hard to believe. You get what you pay for, and Type 10 is much cheaper than Type 90.

  • @milvipes But, its a fact. At that battle, Type 90 were operated by JGSDF Armored (Advanced)Training Unit, however, they could defeat only one Type 10 which have been hit 3 times and judged defeating.

  • @arstriker

Western tank manufacturers need to take a page from Mitsubishi & not overcharge for everything new.

  • I honestly couldn't give a shit about the noise an engine makes. I just want it to get me from point A to point B.
