  • If you wanna hang out, Cocaine

  • Coca Cola was invented by Pemberton in ATLANTA not Columbus.

  • i love how everyone knows about cocaine in coke but dont know how it all started IT WAS COUGH SYRUP and they advertized it as so. its not like they were slipping in a drug without the public knowing about it. and btw we used cocaine back then to open navel cavity's to allow mucus to run out during sinus infections. antibiotics didnt exist. retards.

  • then i Zingged in my pants' :S

  • Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • "Zinggggggggggg" lol

  • Wish they still had cochaine in it... to bad

  • Those kids would later die in Vietnam lol

  • @Nixta245 Vietnam...i heard that place is nice...

  • i think they were still putting cocaine in coke back then lol

  • I love the retro theme to this ad

  • OVER HERE AT PUETO RICO THEY STILL SELL COCA-COLA IN BOTTLES OF GLASS! COCA-COLA IS LOVE!!!

  • O.O WTF THESE PEOPLE ARE WWWAAYYYY TO HAPPY

  • hopfully the went to heaven

  • coke was betetr when it actualy had coke in it hence all the dancing

  • I had food poisoning yesterday :( I was so darn sick, nothing would stay down--EXCEPT for Coke! When you are so darn sick you wanna die, and Coke helps you survive...There is nothing like it in the world. I would have given my house for a Coke at that time! For real. All day, I've been lightly sipping Coke, and I am feel WAY better! Coke Rules!

  • @TheSegafrogz Totally agree. When I was a kid in the 1970s, they still made Coke in glass bottles. It really tasted better in a cold glass bottle. The plastic bottles of today change it. :(

  • They make it with corn syrup now in america, but if its made in mexico they make it the old way with cane sugar.

  • the dancers are all high.

  • I'll buy some coca cola if they put back the damn ingredient.....

  • less dancing more coke

  • back then it had real cocain in it, IT GIVES U THAT REFRESHING NEW FEELING!

  • Ahh where can I still buy a cooler with a cap opener attached on the side??

  • @miamirain Hmmm.... *Goes off, makes a cooler with a bottle cap opener, makes millions*.

  • compare this comercial with the latest coca-cola zero comercial ... times have changed :) ...

  • Alot of people believe this to be a lie BUT it is a fact. Before the government found out the ingredient that was making the coke company so much cash they made selling cocaine illegal. Not because they thought, it was bad but they wanted to find a way for the government to make profits. That can sell it as its pure form to the public and make moneys at the same time from the arrests they make from it. Same with weed, but weed is harmless compared to cokecain and alcohol all FACTS!

  • i don't act like that when i drink a 20 onz. bottle.

  • Boy I'd like to have one of those right now! Bet it taste better than any they make now, even the Mexican coke with cane sugar.

  • ZING!!!

  • the pope was the image of the brand when they found out coca cola had coke in it...that was bad... ahahahaha lool..god bless pope, Im not saying bad of no-one

  • i drank a 3 liter of coke in one hour once, and i'm 147

  • The date is very close, it actually was from 1961-1962, when that slogan "Get That Refreshing New Feeling - Zing!" was being used.

  • @tbear4pa Fixed it as best I could =P

  • Well the ``Refreshing New Feeling`` is just Cokain.... Thats why its named COCA Cola......

  • i am watching this video with a chilled coke.. lovely!

  • @XOBLVIOUSDVILX it's coca-cola not nuka-cola! rofl!

  • isn't this from 1962?

  • aaahh, simple times. they put up a good point when they said after your first long drink, there is still a lot left!! i love the glass bottles

  • nuka-cola

  • @lolmanfps Quantum!

  • @lolmanfps thanks to bethesda, now we cant see/hear anything from the 40's-60's without thinking about fallout 3 XD

  • coca cola tasted much better back then.now a days it has-high frotosed corn syrup.

  • @evilunixuser1 u right

    awesome tasty coke worth everything

    even clogged bloodstream

  • Yeah, then it had coke.

  • for the first 5 years cokes main ingrediants was cocaine

  • Lol that isn't true; that is a rumor the got blown well out of proportion. Before Coke was bought by the Coke Cola company it was sold in barrows as medicine and it contain a small percentage of cocaine in: which was common for most medicine during that time.

  • i'd choose to be born around the 20's so i could have real knowledge and i could beat those nazi bastards on the beach, then drink coke, then i could maybe dance to jimmy hendrix and not get laughed at. then i'll continue my life.

the 50's were awesome i bet, no kindergarden or preschool, no nuke threats, ww2 was over, tv was invented around that time, no goths or emos or fags, well actually fags that were proud that they were gay. (sigh) the 70's were awesome but not as good as the ol' 50's

  • @potatoelover95 LMFAO! no nuke threats in the 50's?!? look up the red scare (1947-1957)

  • Nuka-cola

  • Funny you mention the word "dyspepsia" in your story of the beginnings of Coca-Cola. That was the word that Coke's chief rival was named after. It was invented 12 years later in North Carolina and was call "Caleb's Drink" and promoted as a stomach remedy helping to relieve upset stomach, commonly known as DysPEPSIa.

  • When it first came out, there was Cocane in it thats why its called coke.

  • Haha.

And i thought i was the only one who knew taht.

    x]

  • @Iamkallum well not really it had the main ingredient so it kind of had it but not pure cocaine

  • @IamkallumAlot of people believe this to be a lie BUT it is a fact.

  • @Iamkallum thats why in the commercials they are all" HAYEHYHAYHEYHA COKECOKECOKE IS SOOOOOO GOOOODDD :D"

  • @Iamkallum False

  • cool!

  • for your information..what is your source?

  • at my library we have a million coke cans from around the world andsome look like the little one ounce measurement (dont mind spelling)cups!!!

  • awesome, wish I could see that.

  • @thegreatersnake agreed please take pictures and post again !

  • where do you live? i want a coca cola kitchen when i get my own house. and i'd love to see all those bottles :)

  • if they have one from 1886 than it has traces of cocaine in it probably

  • I want that cooler.

  • looooooooong commerical though

  • coke used to have a special secret ingredient COCAIN .. lol i think thats why people back then drank it so much .. love this comercial 5/5

  • It's spelt Coicane. And the recipe was immediately changed when Cocaine became illegal... Or when the FDA found out. The Cocaine explains the energy rushes. And POSSIBLY the addictiveness. But I say that it didn't make it addictive as there was only a miniscule amount of the drug in Coca Cola... Funny. I'm drinking Coca-Cola right now.

  • I think it's funny how far we have come since this video was made, a king sized coke was big back in them days and look at what we have today... it would probably take 3 of them to make a small drink at most places, and just the other day I saw a 32 ounce drink and that was there small.

Thanks for sharing this video 5/5!

  • This video was before my time but thanks for sharing and rating! and 32 oz. small? How big was there large? sounds like my kinda place lmao.
