  • Ringo looks like he's trying to keep from barfing.

They were so tired, this was probably one of their worst concerts. I saw them in Chicago in 1965.

  • What I would give to have been there. Could there be any four more amazing musicians, than this? I think not. Man, Pauls vocals...and the harmony...and the general playing. No better band since. All time greatest.. Beatles forreveerr.

  • For hidden messages in Beatles songs search Truth Contest, click on The Present, click on the Beatles section. Thumbs up on this comment.

  • Ringo is thinking,” wow George is really off time."

  • RINGO IS PISSED!

  • Notice John never used the organ on I'm Down, but there it is sitting on the stage! LOL!

  • They seem to be playing/singing better this night and having much more fun as opposed to the other night they played in Japan (and wore the dark suits)

  • 1:33 when you know i'm whaaa!

  • the audience is kinda well-behaved but I think they are as orgasmic as any western audience - and the lads are giving it 310 per cent....

  • man, they must have been a sight to behold live

  • I love in the old shows the way they bow after songs. Real Brittish Ye Olde Music Hall. Lovely.

  • Beatles used to love Japan, as they got to hear what they were playing. Could really put on a good show, and enjoy the music.

Japanese culture - they stay pretty quiet during the performance, out of respect for the artist. Only go nuts in between songs

  • Could George be more perfect ?

  • とうきよう!

  • Great last song with George's guitar lead playing. Thanks for putting these clips on; regards.

  • Such legends =)

  • This is one of Paul's Little Richard imitations.

  • Did anyone else see Ringo's face at 1:50? It looks like hes in severe pain.... o.o

  • @LL7182009 just drumming I think

  • @LL7182009

    Probably a sneeze.

  • @LL7182009 He was sick (stomach problems) during the Japan shows.

  • @astrochicken HAHAHAHAHahaha!!!! How foolish are You!?!?!? You're one if those conspiracy theroriest, aren't you? Yeahhhh! Have you even seen The BeaTles let alone the REAL/fake Paul? @everyone If you guys love The Beatles, then Thums Down astrochicken to the stone age!!!! HAHA!!! Lol!

  • @guitarchristian06 Just listen /watch?v=RmIKq7tB-Q4

  • @RaajaGeetham What does that have anything to do with Paul McCartney?!?!?! Some indian instrumental? Don't advertise on here

  • @guitarchristian06

i wish you could still thumbs down

  • Paul died????? crazy....he live

  • c'est court pour un concert

  • oe como se llama esta cancion ?

  • @condonlleno I'm down

  • paul said "sayonara" means goodbye!

  • Oh my god, Paul has the best voice of all of them. Did u really listen to the start of the song????

It's incredible... for his music, his voice... Paul is my favourite Beatle ever, and he is happy, and laughing the complete concert !

And he is not dead how could he...?? His creations, his voice doesn't compare with other. Stop talking vague things and enjoy this great band !!!!

Regards from Chile, if i made a mistake, please forgive me, im learning english :B

  • ok. for the ones that say that paul mccartney died i suggest you to think a little bit more, he isn't dead don't be stupid, it's impossible that they could find an identical replacement for him, please, and yes i've read all the things related to this lie, and they are really interesting... and stupid. he's alive and i'll go to see him in mexico city in two weeks.

  • Interesting how music brings people together. Only a few years earlier Japan was fighting the British and Americans in WWII.

  • Man, they must've been scared for their lives, coz they really legged it off the stage!

  • DAMN! i´m 20 years to late.... :D

  • Rock on, George.

Man, Paul McCartney could really shout it out back then... thanks for posting

  • McCartney could allways shout. His replacement still can't.

  • @astrochicken His replacement isn't real, cause Pauls alive.

  • @mysteryskater48 Don't want to burst your bubble.. do some research with an open mind and you'll come to the same conclusion i did. Paul died/was murdered in 1966 and replaced by a green-eyed,taller and talentless individual.

The Beatles announced they would stop touring on the 11th of September.

Search for paul / faul (fake paul)

I can give you loads of links if you want?

  • @astrochicken I've seen the Paul is Dead website, and I admit it's very convincing but I saw Paul (real or fake) live in 2008 and that has convinced me he is real...And if not his replacement is really good.

  • super super super

    toll toll toll

    klasse klasse klasse

    nice nice nice

    schön schön schön

  • 'And as they say in Runcorn...Sayonara' ;)

  • Priceless. The microphone is still this time.

  • try your best to pause at 01:50 and you'll see it looks like Ringo wants to puke.

  • XD you're right! No offence to the man, though. Great drummer. Great group all together.

  • Ha, thats funny!

  • hahahahahahahaha! so true

  • george tried to play the taxman solo at the end!!! awesome video!!!!

  • fantastic......

    saludos

  • @orgulloso79 ???

  • I would've been up there in the front row screaming myself senseless right along with those teenyboppers.

  • John is alive as long as we are alive.

  • And when you die?

  • John... you're suppose to be playing that organ!

  • wow. The girls are having a screaming contest over there.

    I feel ashamed. I'm Japanese............

    sigh..........

  • Lovely.

  • five shows but only two was recorded.

  • how many shows in japan?

    and all shooted?

  • Ringo looks so bored!

  • Ringo wasn't very well.

I heard that he had an upset bowels in Japan...

  • the fans are thinking "what thats it, 30 min"?

  • I just watched all seven parts of this concert; the band is in great form here (a few bum notes, but hey nobody's perfect). I wish this were released as an audio recording as it's an excellent concert in the later days. While I wished they would have gone back to performing in '69, at least they had the intelligence to quit while still great, unlike the Stones & Who, becoming old parodies of once great bands.

  • Actually, it's available as a bootleg called "Five Nights In A Judo Arena". It's a really great, well-mixed tape.

  • what's amazing is the energy they brought to every show, despite the grueling tour schedule and screaming crowds...

  • beatles for eveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer

  • and ever and ever!!!

  • and ever and ever

  • and ever and ever, ESPECIALLY JOHN LENNON!!

  • Harrison at around 1:40 turning his back as he is crouching near his amp and ripping into the hot lead solo, the def of cool in the day.. A tight little group from Liverpool !! Shine on,,May we all shine on.

  • wow! Paul really has a good vocals! anywhere he'll take it, he can get the tune right! Long live Paul! Love you then and now!

  • george harrison had the best hair.

  • Interesting to hear it with two guitars. Note the unused keyboard to the left, behind where John was standing.

  • It's crazy to think that Revolver was already in the can here.

  • Ringo is the only one that actually looks bored. It seems like this was the funnest performance that George was in.

  • It was great! Greatest Show ever! Thanks for posting!

  • Thanks for posting this-groovy!

  • Ow, damn. How I wish I was there, I think the Japan concert was one of the few were you could actually listen to them :)

  • LOVE IT-me too!

  • ahahahhahhahhahah 1:50 whats the deal there?

    hahah

  • I dunno, something's bugging Ringo, lol.

  • THE BEATLES ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

  • man Macca is awesome.good voice

  • The ending is the best, the politeness of the Japanese announcer after the Beatles just riled up everyone into a freny is hilarious.

  • I think the screaming was dubbed because the Japanese are the quietest people in the world.

The engineers did them a favor because they would not want to be singled out as the one country where they didn't scream (the Dutch were pretty restrained too though)

That sort of politeness is common in Japan. Quite a shock for a NYC boy.

I saw one older lady step back 3 times in the Ikebukaro train station so as to have enough room for a proper, from the waist bow.

  • thank you so much for posting this concert!!!!

  • OHHHH YAAAYYYYY

  • yes,beatles are unique

  • So are the Japanese.

  • I am eternally grateful to you for uploading this! I love watching them perform...and Ringo actually smiled once in this last part! YAY. Lovely Beatles....
