The show only had 13 episodes because of a shitty network who didn't give the show time enough to grow. There was not enough fan support because of the bad time slot. Money was the factor.

If there's one thing I can't stand it's a promising UPN series that ends with a confusing cliffhanger of a season finale and then gets cancelled. Oh well, at least now I can get back to watching "Nowhere Man" and "Deadly Games".

Obviously this was just meant to be a season ending cliffhanger... the characters wouldn't have died. In fact, my guess is that their car would land on an even larger "bounce castle" and then everything would be sorted out later. A great episode to have people wanting more for the second season, but unfortunately that never happened.

Unfortunately, "Gary and Mike" is a CBS/Viacom product, but "Robot Chicken" is AOL/Time Warner's. Also RC is only partly claymation, but G&M was 100%. (Not a critcism of either.) Sadly, I think that it would be too expensive for any secondary entity to justify the production costs - even if the original cast's schedules would allow for it. Finally, does anyone write this funny, anymore? Are they even allowed to?

Thats a good ending and new beginning, chrisspacePatti, but really all they would have to do is start it right where it ended here at the bridge, essentially thats why they left it that way b/c they knew they had a feeling around ep. 10 that the ratings were dying and that it may be canceled. UPN really dropped the ball on this one, I mean what else do they have now, nothing. Thankfully Harland Williams still wants to do it.

I suppose if this show was going to be revived they could probably say that they where in jail the past 6 years for their crime of at least resisting arrest and endangering the lives of "many children who are facing unique challanges which they will undoubtubly overcome". Then they'll start their new adventures again. I supose a last episode could be Gary finally getting some, and Mike finally deciding to commit to Beth (See ep 10a-c).
