This is really cool. Although, if you're only using serial communication between the phone and the Arduino, you could replace the physical cables with a Bluetooth modem capable of supporting the Serial Port Profile, and control that guy wirelessly!

You said you were inverting the serial out signal, arduino's NewSoftSerial library provides internal support for that.

We're using Python code via the Android Scripting Environment, so there is no apk. We have the source code on Google Code
