Christ taught of hell repeatedly. The Holy Spirit led John to write of it extensively in Revelation. There seems to be a problem with your logic.

The meaning of the cross and resurrection is not only that God loves, but also that He has the power and the will to overcome evil, not just personally as Jesus did, but to do so universally or cosmically, and bring victory out of what could only be described as eternal defeat. To believe that such a God could or would permit a single soul He created, to be destroyed, or even eternally separated from Him is a contradiction in terms. Fantastic to hear this brother's journey. I remember when I was a biblicist and I came across this guy. I was very fearful to hear this idea (that there is no hell). The idea of eternal torment is repulsive. And in addition to this, it has very little clear support in the Bible. From what I gather, there's a pretty decent case to be made for Universalism in the Bible.

The Biblical weight of evidence makes it very clear what God teaches about heaven and hell. Hell is a real place and that is the point of John 3:16 - that God so loved his creation that He sent Jesus to rescue a fallen and lost humanity. Jesus took our punishment for us. The least we should do until the day of judgement is preach against sin and turn away from satan's temptations and take God's word for what it is. The Truth. Jesus paid the price for the sins of the whole world yet the world must accept the sacrifice that was made. The world is not automatically save because Jesus died on the cross. All this nonsense about "we need to accept the sacrifice" is foolish. In the old testament when the literal lamb was sacrificed, it was sacrificed for the sin of all the people, and none of them had to "accept" it. Jesus sacrifice is much more than the blood sacrifice of lambs, and He will indeed draw all men unto Him(John 12:32)

As for Matt 11, Christ is warning them of the coming judgment as well as Matt 23 and 23 and Matt3:10. They all speak about the same judgement that Isaiah and Daniel spoke about. Paul speaks about it in 2Thes1 and Christ speaks a parable about it in Luke 16 as the judgment on the richman. Its all the same

The meaning of the cross and resurrection is not only that God loves, but also that He has the power and the will to overcome evil, not just personally as Jesus did, but to do so universally or cosmically, and bring victory out of what could only be described as eternal defeat. To believe that such a God could or would permit a single soul He created, to be destroyed, or even eternally separated from Him is a contradiction in terms. It would also be an inadmissible defeat for God.

Fantastic to hear this brother's journey. I remember when I was a biblicist and I came across this guy. I was very fearful to hear this idea (that there is no hell). The idea of eternal torment is repulsive. And in addition to this, it has very little clear support in the Bible. From what I gather, there's a pretty decent case to be made for Universalism in the Bible.

The Biblical weight of evidence makes it very clear what God teaches about heaven and hell. Hell is a real place and that is the point of John 3:16 - that God so loved his creation that He sent Jesus to rescue a fallen and lost humanity. @Baru87 well how about John 3:16 God so loved the world he gave his only son so that who ever believes in him will have eternal life. see when I look at universal Salvation I don't look at it as if everyone will be in heaven for we have the freedom to choose a free gift or not, but salvation is gift to all. if God is love, and love covers a multitude of Sin's, Love also keeps no record of wrong. even if we die we still get the chance to make that choice.

@Baru87 Jesus never made any reference to saved or unsaved, He called it blindness. Jesus is the Light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:5 I see God the Father working in everybody Christian or non Christian alike why because God is Love and He loves His creation, God will never leave us or forsake us that's just not for believers. I can go on and post a few more but it's all about how we see love and how we see love is how we see God.

I believe the only way to hell is really denying Jesus Christ because we have all sin. Be baptized in Jesus name and get filled with the Holy Ghost. You still want to live a life holy before him. God has giving us grace and mercy and he will judge you in the end. But once you deny him as the only way as the true and living God watch out!!!!

Jesus took our punishment for us. The least we should do until the day of judgement is preach against sin and turn away from satan's temptations and take God's word for what it is. The Truth. Even if those malnurished people who don't know Christ might be saved from hell in the end, we can't live our lives the way that we want and assume that we'll be fine. We need to obey God's word and bless others by helping them, etc. Jesus said, it's harder for RICH men to enter into heaven. Live for Jesus.

Jesus paid the price for the sins of the whole world yet the world must accept the sacrifice that was made. The world is not automatically save because Jesus died on the cross. HITLER IS SAVED AND IN HEAVEN! Did Hitler go to church? Did Hitler serve God? No he didn't but if that's the case and he's in heaven then the whole world need not ever go to church because they're going to heaven the same way Hitler did, if not then God is totally unfair! Can you see how this leads to never changing self?

@megachews The fact is, Jesus truly meant what He said on the cross. IT IS FINISHED. When something is finished, nothing else needs to be added to it. All this nonsense about "we need to accept the sacrifice" is foolish. In the old testament when the literal lamb was sacrificed, it was sacrificed for the sin of all the people, and none of them had to "accept" it. Jesus sacrifice is much more than the blood sacrifice of lambs, and He will indeed draw all men unto Him(John 12:32)

Also, how do you explain the fact that the God of this world blinds those who don't believe so that the light of the gospel CANNOT reach them? 2 Corinth 4:4. @comfortings Because God will cause ALL men to eventually believe(John 12:32). God is the Savior of ALL men, ESPECIALLY(Notice it doesn't say EXCLUSIVELY) of them that believe(I Tim 4:10.) He will have all men saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth(I Tim 2:4). You didn't "believe" on your own, nor did I, nor did ANYBODY. We are ALL given a measure of faith, and the faith is NOT of ourselves(Eph 2:8)
