I don't believe Lance did any drugs, but even if he did, it would simply put him on a level playing field with all the other elite riders. Alot of US domestic riders race on elite amateur teams because they get more sponsor support without rider salaries using up money. Cat 1 can do virtually 99.9% of races and dont have to race 100 times per yr like pros do.

95% of Pro racers get paid virtually nothing. Us "pros" pay for their season on prize money and hopefully sponsors pay for all their equipment. Some are riding for free on Div 2 and avove despite that being against rules... The average salary in american racing is about $20,000 per yr for the full time racers and less for many. The minimum in the "ProTour" is 30,000 Euros which is over $50,000 US.
So hes coming back to try and gain some credibility after being dogged with the steroids tag, further validtated by his positive 2004 retest for previously undetected banned steroids.

The masters 40-44 hour record with a TT bike on Zipp 909 and disk rear was recently broken. 28 mph average. Mercx did over 30 with stock bike and toe clips many times.

Lance Armstrong's achievements are excellent, theres no doubt about that. However you must remember that Eddy Mercx won the Tour 5 times along with all the other races, as he wasn't simply concentrating one race.
Mercx was by far the best cyclist ever and I tell you why:
There was no epo, "blood packing", cow hemoglobin or advanced "preened" steroids.
Mercx had the hour record until Chris boardman in the early 1990's, the start of epo... Even then Boardman, a TT specialist could barely beat Mercx and he said it was the hardest shit he'd ever done.
Mercx had won virtually every RR there was to win. Pharmstrong against Mercx in the 60's-70's era would be no competition Mercx would dominate.
Yeah, Eddy kills Lance because the technology wasn't that great back then. You put Eddy in a modern road bike, its a different story. I've ridden classic steel bikes, and they are harder to ride in, compared to a carbon fiber frame. I have to give Eddy some credit.
My question to you: How were the 18 cyclists in front of him faster without using EPO? Even if they were above the top 1/1000th in talent level how one earth could they gain a massive 54% duration of sustainable 20 min power???
And since Leonardo Piepoli, who never tested positivebut admitted to EPO use, could do it, then its possible to use EPO undetected isnt it. And then, how did the rest of the field keep up without using EPO?
Lets take Moises Dueñas Nevado who tested positive for EPO.Lets say despite being found with a whole pharmacy in his hotel room, he only choose to take EPO. Lets say his "clean" 20min. power output was 400 watts without EPO. Thats generally a talent level in the top 1/1000'th of the population that gets you a contract with a team like Barloworld... On EPO that jumps too over 440 watts sustained now for 33.5 minutes, on the conservative side of estimation. He was sitting 19th in "The tour".
The main finding was that EPO use improved time to exhaustion at 80% of peak power out by an enormous 54% within 4weeks! Peak Power Output improved by 13% in the first four weeks of the trial. Sustainable power output not only increased, but what normally is 20 minute power became 33.5 minute power!
Taking EPO is way more efficient that "blood packing" because your red blood cells in a bag will die or get become unusable by the body over time... IN a study by the European journal of Applied Medicing, a test was run on the effects of EPO. The testing involved an 13-week period, where the 16 athletes were split into two groups. The control group received placebo injection, whereas the 8 cyclists in the EPO group received a dosage of EPO on a schedule worked out over the 13-week period.
Pharmstrong tested positive for his cortisteroid creme at the dauphine in '99, and then again for epo 5 times during the '99tour in WADA practice testing to hire in the trainees.
All that "proves" is that WADA is 7 long years behind and what I've been saying all along, 98% of world class pros are juicing big time.
Why would a cancer survivor take a drug such as epo, epo can actually cause cancer if taken in large doses, riders actually have to take large doses for it to be effective enough to boost a users performance, do some research on EPO.
And EPO is only a small piece of the pie. Your talking steroids, cortisone, amphetamines, chemo boosters RSR-13, Interleukins, insulin, peptide hormones, thyriod drugs, asthma, and blood boosting, cow blood, insulin, hGH, eGH, IGF, most corticoids, female hormones and estrogen blockers, heamopure, oxyglobin, etc. etc.

The Enzo is faster than the ZR1 with technical difficulties. And the Enzo does 0-62; 3/10ths sec. 3.1 versus 3.4 for the Vette. quicker. Top speed is 15 mph faster, and the Enzo never got a fair run at Nordeshliefe because of technical problems and incompetency by Evo. Outside Mag called cycling the most "drug-soaked" sport, and that is saying a lot. I don't believe Lance did any drugs, but even if he did, it would simply put him on a level playing field with all the other elite riders. The other riders would have access to the same stuff as Lance, but they still could not beat him. Either way, he's the best rider of his generation and the Euros will have to deal with that.

I lifted weights 6 days a week for 6 years in the most steroid infested gyms you could imagine.I was offered roids but never did them.Armstrong is not on them otherwise his legs would be twice the normal size.If you dont know what you are talking about dont open your mouths.

Alot of US domestic riders race on elite amateur teams because they get more sponsor support without rider salaries using up money. Cat 1 can do virtually 99.9% of races and dont have to race 100 times per yr like pros do.

95% of Pro racers get paid virtually nothing. Us "pros" pay for their season on prize money and hopefully sponsors pay for all their equipment. Some are riding for free on Div 2 and avove despite that being against rules... The average salary in american racing is about $20,000 per yr for the full time racers and less for many. The minimum in the "ProTour" is 30,000 Euros which is over $50,000 US.

The masters 40-44 hour record with a TT bike on Zipp 909 and disk rear was recently broken. 28 mph average. Mercx did over 30 with stock bike and toe clips many times.
Thats why doping is cheating, because there is guys fast enough to be competitive for one day without cow blood, but they cant do the stage races which are the most prestigous.

Lance Armstrong's achievements are excellent, theres no doubt about that. However you must remember that Eddy Mercx won the Tour 5 times along with all the other races, as he wasn't simply concentrating one race.

Mercx was by far the best cyclist ever and I tell you why:
There was no epo, "blood packing", cow hemoglobin or advanced "preened" steroids.
Mercx had the hour record until Chris boardman in the early 1990's, the start of epo... Even then Boardman, a TT specialist could barely beat Mercx and he said it was the hardest shit he'd ever done.
Mercx had won virtually every RR there was to win. Pharmstrong against Mercx in the 60's-70's era would be no competition Mercx would dominate.

Yeah, Eddy kills Lance because the technology wasn't that great back then. You put Eddy in a modern road bike, its a different story. I've ridden classic steel bikes, and they are harder to ride in, compared to a carbon fiber frame. I have to give Eddy some credit.

My question to you: How were the 18 cyclists in front of him faster without using EPO? Even if they were above the top 1/1000th in talent level how one earth could they gain a massive 54% duration of sustainable 20 min power???
And since Leonardo Piepoli, who never tested positivebut admitted to EPO use, could do it, then its possible to use EPO undetected isnt it. And then, how did the rest of the field keep up without using EPO?

Lets take Moises Dueñas Nevado who tested positive for EPO.Lets say despite being found with a whole pharmacy in his hotel room, he only choose to take EPO. Lets say his "clean" 20min. power output was 400 watts without EPO. Thats generally a talent level in the top 1/1000'th of the population that gets you a contract with a team like Barloworld... On EPO that jumps too over 440 watts sustained now for 33.5 minutes, on the conservative side of estimation. He was sitting 19th in "The tour".

The main finding was that EPO use improved time to exhaustion at 80% of peak power out by an enormous 54% within 4weeks! Peak Power Output improved by 13% in the first four weeks of the trial. Sustainable power output not only increased, but what normally is 20 minute power became 33.5 minute power!

Taking EPO is way more efficient that "blood packing" because your red blood cells in a bag will die or get become unusable by the body over time... IN a study by the European journal of Applied Medicing, a test was run on the effects of EPO. The testing involved an 13-week period, where the 16 athletes were split into two groups. The control group received placebo injection, whereas the 8 cyclists in the EPO group received a dosage of EPO on a schedule worked out over the 13-week period.

Pharmstrong tested positive for his cortisteroid creme at the dauphine in '99, and then again for epo 5 times during the '99tour in WADA practice testing to hire in the trainees.
All that "proves" is that WADA is 7 long years behind and what I've been saying all along, 98% of world class pros are juicing big time.

Why would a cancer survivor take a drug such as epo, epo can actually cause cancer if taken in large doses, riders actually have to take large doses for it to be effective enough to boost a users performance, do some research on EPO.

He did NOT test positive for cortisone, his levels were far below the level that indicates a positive test.
And the 1999 EPO tests were an absolute farce, conducted in a way that fell "so far below the required scientific standard that it is irresponsible to suggest they constitute evidence of anything."

Pharmstrong hires people to run his cancer foundation. The hundreds of people behind the scenes are the ones that get no credit. Pharmstrong is all about Pharmstrong, having a foundation is pure PR goodness. I'm sure he wants to help the cause, but he's not the one out there doing all the work. He was the largest consumer of water in the Austin area and he's got compounds all over the place, giving back?? To what, plants and flowers from Brazil??

The riders in "The Tour" who tested posive were getting their asses handed to them by the "internal testing" teams. You have ONE study done of the effects of EPO with an incredibly small sample size (8 people is not enough, the effects of confounding are huge with a sample this size).
And you have a cyclist who was coming 19th in the TDF who was on EPO. So what? There has been speculation that Armstrong could be in the top 1/10000000th in talent level, surely he could beat a far less talented rider who is taking EPO.

The Enzo is faster than the ZR1 with technical difficulties. And the Enzo does 0-62; 3/10ths sec. 3.1 versus 3.4 for the Vette. quicker. Top speed is 15 mph faster, and the Enzo never got a fair run at Nordeshliefe because of technical problems and incompetency by Evo. The F60 and F50 are both faster still... 2.9 sec 0-60 for example, its like Pharmstrong vs. Roy Sentjens:)
