Yeah, by the time I knew some basic information about nutrition, which was like 9 or 10, I knew that milk had little to do with muscle development.

@littlemaninblack In order for skinny guys to get muscle, they need to put on weight and the way to put on weight is by eating a lot. Whole Milk probably won't help you gain weight if you're naturally skinny.

I cant believe this was targeted to kids. This is like the pre-teen equivalent of Budwesiser commercials. You know, the ones where 2 fat and balding sports fans drink beer and the bikini chicks start BBQing with them. Its insane. Hey waters healthy for you too! and its free....well, most of it is LOL

ah, the old milk myth ads from the late 80s early 90s.

The only healthy milk is skim milk. All the other milk (Whole, 2%, Chocolate) will just make you fat.

Eating fat doesn't make you fat. Actually, the fat in 2% and whole will cause your body to absorb the sugar in milk more slowly and release less insulin, the fat storing hormone. And milk is good for building muscle.

In retrospect, what a stupid commercial. As if Milk is going to give you a six-pack or an hour glass figure, as a matter fact, adults and maybe even teens should drink less, if any, and not drink that fattening homogenized milk at all. The dairy industry is another one of those industries that uses this wholesome healthy stereotype that milk drinking was associated. Like anything, it should be consumed in moderation.
