Ugh. TATU did a horrible job covering this song, and I cringe thinking about hearing it for the first time. SRC does a pretty kick-ass job, and I'm not usually a fan of covers.
The fact that I haven't covered the song doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on it. By your logic, you aren't me and haven't lived in my shoes so don't bother formulating an opinion on what I said.
WOW, that is saying a lot considering that the original writer said that! But honestly, I am NOT surprised because SRC was prolly one of the most underrated and promising bands I have seen. ITs unfortuneate that their music did not fall on more peeps ears.
Really, Morrissey said that? I have to admit, that would be surprising given his general pompous nature. I love the guy's music, but you have to admit, he seems like a difficult character to get along with.
She's way more of a powerhouse live than the studio shit could give her justice

Toby sounds different both live and on the LP, either way, she serves it. I MISS you SRC...where did you go???? I loved you sooooo...

Not liking this live version, sounds pretty dismal to be honest. The studio mix however actually makes me love a song I previously detested.

This is my favorite cover of the song. I think they did way better than the other bands did.

It's part of the act.

The Smiths did this song originally. t.A.T.u. changed up all the other covers by singing it in harmony and not having it sound all chopped up.

SRC covered it 2000.
The original Singer of The Smiths (morrissey) said once that SRC´s Version is even better than the Original :)
