  • Awesome. I have the same 1 in red. But how long have u been playing rockabilly? I've been concentrating on metal. So I cant play anything u just did lol

  • Man, rockabbilly fuckin rulez!!!!!!! Yò brò!!!

  • Very cool guitar. Excellent tone. Great playing. Thanks for sharing.

  • thanks for the excellent demo! sweet playing and nice tone.

  • WhAT was the price of this guitar????

  • @Davesintexas It's not expansive, I think it's just 300-400 dollards

  • @arhzig2004 neh the cheapest one I've seen it's around 600

  • have the exact same guitar. same color and everything. it's pretty cool. i took the pick guard off though and cant find it now lol

  • nice sound

  • Oh shit, def getting now. That thing sounds amazing.

  • what amp and other gear do you use for that sound. it sounded like gold to me:D

  • oh my gosh... i have the same guitar and yours sounds SOO much better than mine!

  • i just ordered it a few minutes ago.. hope it's worth it.. seems like it does :)

  • 10 guys don't have a ibanez afs75t

  • I just bought this guitar yesterday. It cost $845 (AUD) and it was worth every cent.

  • Really, nice guitar playing! I have $500 bucks, so im thinking about this guitar.

  • I also have the same model. I have problem with live gigs, it's too quiet, always have to turn mixer-volume high.

    Do you have similar problem?

  • Good video. Killer tone off the guitar

  • what kind of tremolo is it? floating or not?

  • the red one of these looks liek the one from Back in the Past (or w/e) :oo do a cover of Johnny be goode with this! :D

  • Comment removed

  • Very very nice, just a bit short....

  • this is a perfect demo of the sound a and playing style that this guitar is capable of. Excellent range of sound from Jazz to rockabilly with style to match.

Regarding the questions about the bends, look at the 1 1/2 bend at 1:12 - do you want more than that? If you do you're looking at the wrong guitar.

  • Hi, great video¡¡¡¡

What kind of strings do you use in this guitar?

A frined told me that this kinds of guitar has problems with the bends, is that true?

Is this guitar useful to play blues such as albert king?

  • @sonoman18

"A frined told me that this kinds of guitar has problems with the bends, is that true?"

    Check out the video again.

Bend those strings any more and they'd be prezels. ;-)

  • Ha, I love you holding it up to the camera at the beginning like,

"smell it, smell it and it's ibanez goodness!"

  • This was a really useful vid. Thanks very much indeed. How do find tuning stability with that bridge?

    BTW - nice chops!

  • they do make a terrific guitar for the money...... prince uses one....so they cant be that bad..! i had a similarmodel...sold it...and yes i reely regret it now

  • claro, es perfecta!!! :D

  • That's a pretty thin body for a single cutaway.

  • hey, this guitar, can you use it as an acoustic guitar too? let me know.

  • You DO the sound of this guitar JUSTICE...even on my cruddy little computer speakers.

  • Yes it's worth it, I have owned mine for 5 years and it's still my favorite guitar, excellent guitar.

  • very sexy

  • Som maravilhoso! Era o que tava faltando... ouví-la.. Vou comprar

  • i already got it last week! its white...:P

  • Man, I wish I could play that minor 7 flat 5 chord with my index at the root. I have small hands and have to substitute it with my thumb. If Hendrix can do it then so can I!

  • @snaketrails ummm..if you can play with your tumb you have large hands, not small.

  • @kkhan1981 Not so with me, I absolutey cannot play chords such as the minor 6'th or major 7+11 with my fingers alone, it's very uncomfortable. I have to bring my thumb up over the neck and play the e string notes like that, so as to give my fingers more room. Also, I do realize that Hendrix had huge hands, so my comment is ironic.

  • Does it stay in tune well with that kind of trem system?

  • @BlackAngusYoung Generally, as long as you're not doing massive dive bombs or things like that with it, and use it for more subtle purposes, it should be fine for the most part. Just don't abuse it ;-)

  • you play well son

  • @bondman00794

Not trying to bust your ass, but why would you call someone twice your age “son” ?

  • what kind of amp are you using? i have the same guitar in silver and everything i plug it in to sounds waaaay too bass-y and the sound just muddies up and won't balance. i don't even have bassy settings... 5-bass, mid-6, treble-8

  • Same here. Try bass at 2 or 3, treble 3/4 of the way up. My amp is a Vox (no mid control). That seems better for me. Was thinking about changing the pickups until I saw this. Must be able to sound good with the right settings, and playing. How good is this guy!?

  • Well... Bigby (style) tremolo's never have detachable arms. I own this guitar myself and it's turnable, not detachable.

  • nice! i'm thinkin of buying this guitar and this vid made me want it even more lol

  • @ffjansen I have the exact one for sale but in red. Mint condition. Comes with hard case cuz the guitar doesnt come with a case.

  • what type pf amp where you using?

  • looks and sounds nice thx! is it a keeper then? and just wondering what strings you d sugest putting on it?

  • Excellent demo of pickup position sounds and great playing...short and sweet!

  • lmao the first tiem he used the whammy its sounded like the sound u get in bad company when u find gold

  • damn im going to buy this lil beauty

i have to save every € i get

  • I have this guitar with the tremelo thru a Line6 spider 75,.awesome...I also have the AF 85, but prefer the 75:)

  • WHOA... I think I just got the female version of a boner... I am gettting the same one in black in like 1 week... I will post mine here as well! hehehe

    That Hollowbody is the shit!

  • Cool I will get mine out and practice, Artcore that is

  • A masterpiece guitar, really versatile and a dream to play.

  • I'm Saving up for one at the moment nearly there to. :-)

  • Do it, That guitar is woth every coin ;D

  • i have a simler guitar same colors but i have a floating harp tail piece no wammy bar

  • beautiful in everyway, carnt wait to get my hands on 1

  • i love your guitar playing dude

  • Search myspace, he's a local famous blues musician in Brisbane, Australia.

  • I love the Ibanez afs75t. I own one myself (in beautiful transparent red ), and it's one of my favourite guitars. It offers you great price/quality ratio, thus it's relatively cheap (I bought it for around 400 euro's). I play it in a rockband, mostly lead, and it has a tough punch. But blues and jazz also sound perfectly. The only thing that annoys me is that the cutaway should have been a little deeper. But it still is the perfect allrounder!

  • I think it's best for songs that should sound a little "rocknroll"

  • True, it sounds great with Reverend Horton Heat! :D

  • Ok, ok.. I have to admit... it sounds great with Reverend. :)

  • did you mean Reverb?

  • @mondoinc

No no, I meant Reverend Horton Heat .:D

  • @FretFusion Reverend, lol?

  • wow...wat a beautiful guitar

but western black is a lot more sexier

  • hawt!

  • Beautiful. I like your style man. Let me ask you something, I've been considering one of these, and though I'd really like to learn jazz/groove guitar like that, my primary style thus far is more prog rock, like TOOL, through to Rage Against The Machine kinda stuff with the occasional acoustic fun, like Sublime to Johnny Cash type of range, so have you ever tried playing harder stuff on that guitar? If so, how does it come out? Thanks for the advice. Nice playing dude. You deserve that guitar.

  • I have one of these that I use to play live in a metal band and everyone loves it and tells me how good it sounds. Its worth geting some compression on it though to tighten it up.

  • Its a great guitar for most styles, it will feed back under high gain, but set at about three/four oclock, with mid and treb set to about 11oclock, its got a scorching tone, very eric johnson! Really, it sounds best with a Foo Fighters esque set-up, where you get plenty of bite, but still plenty of the warm hollow body tone. The bar can only really handle tasteful bends, EVH style divebombs tend to knock the tuning somewhat. Hope this helps.

  • i love that guitar i just got a brand new white one and the guitar plays very good

  • Is the playability and comfort ok?

  • in my opinion this guitar it's better than joe pass emperor 2, just my opinion

  • lol hearing you play made me smile

  • I absolutely love this guitar!

It's one of the best looking guitars I've evr seen and it sounds incredible.

Love Ibanez, the fretboard is so nice and flat.

I'm soooo gonna buy this baby!

    It sounds so great.

Ur a great guitar player btw =)

  • I don't think Ibanez gets enough credit for their versatility. They make stuff like this, and other things like the RG series.

  • i saw this thing in a magazine for 200, i was really suprised, i really enjoy prs, and gibson, and i absolutely love ibanez, cause of the really flat fretboards

  • yeah, definitely a good deal.

  • I'm thinking about buying this guitar. is it worth it?

  • @eb1791 - The red one that I bought on Craigslist for a little under $200 was well worth it. This guitar is a good jumping off point for modding. E.g, I discarded the pickups, electronics, the Fakesby, the roller-bridge and the tuners as soon as I got mine. With Gibson Classic 57 pups, an artcore trapeze tailpiece, a rosewood bridge, 18:1 locking tuners and a set of Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Swing flatwounds (13s) it's quite a nice thin-line full-hollow-body Jazz-Box!

  • @eb1791 I have one love it too death

  • does it work well with distortion?

  • what is that third song you played?

  • if a pick ever fell down one of the sound holes, is it like impossible to get it out?

  • no but it's a huge pain in the ass.

  • that happens to me with my acoustic guitar and i feel like smashing the guitar every time

  • theyre called f holes just so you know :)

  • wow... when u bought that... is there a amplifier that come with it? or u seperately buy it?

  • one didn't come with mine but a line 6 spyder 3 and marshalls work well for bout 100-200$

  • Excellent man. I'm getting this guitar for christmas in black without the tremolo.

  • You can always get the bigsby later on :3

  • crazy guitar playing. im thinking about getting this guitar, do you recommend it?

  • no i have one awsome guitar but they dont go out of tune unless u put some real torute on it im goign to sell mine because i dont play that kinda music any more

  • ive heard that if u do any tremolo or bends, the strings gets out of tune is dat true?

  • Lord no

  • you need to have locking tuners for the nut if its a floating tremolo

  • hahahaha whats he supposed to be doing in the beginning? he needs to tell us about it!!

  • mine is EXACTLY like that. it's only $300, so you can imagine the quality, but's it's a pretty decent guitar for that price. it's fun to play with.

  • I have the hollow body accoustic, it's freakin' great... do alot of 60's garage punk covers

  • at 50 seconds, it gave me a pulp fiction feeling. very nice guitar, love it ;-)

  • i have this guitar and it's horrible.

  • wait didnt they stop making this guitar in the blue finish i think its only in silver now....

  • good lord my ears just came, sold! im getting this guitar

  • awesome playing i might get this guitar =]

  • oh man, so beautiful...

  • nice guitar!

  • yeah me too i don't like any other ibanez guitar but i asked that because i can't afford a gibson 335 :( so i was thinking which of those would be better

  • which one will you choose, epiphone dot or ibanez artcore ?

  • I've never liked ibanez but these play better than any epi I've ever played, though I'm more of an american made gibson or fender person. but I like these.

  • can this babe (guitar) play metal songs?

  • Why would you use a guitar like this for metal?

  • i have a artcore and i play metal on it all the time love the pick ups in it it has allot of feed back thow cus it simi hollow ya know but yesh good for metal any kind of music realy pop to hevey ya know........

  • i love those pickups

  • man i have that guitar in silver, SWEET FRICKEN GUITAR (I am actually playing it right now), such a deal! everyone who play guitar and likes a sweet lookin and playin guitar should go out and get one.

  • did you use effects or just the guitar pickups to change the sound?

  • He was using a Fender HotRod Deluxe amp for his tone changin'

  • toca d mais msmo, puta pegada animal

  • boooo gibson good job ibanez

  • ok Gibson has been making hollow bodies since the 50s they make good hollow bodies but nothings as good as a gretsch i have one it blows the artcore away!

  • wow looks nice. now i want an ibanez. eheh

although im only a beginner im already craving for the more mid range - expensive guitars. aha

  • that finish is beautiful

  • Is There A Way To Tell The Difference Without Hearing It?

  • Love The Whammy Bar!

  • dude that was great.

  • Im think he dont have it anymore . . .

  • Because I Stole It

  • hi i got that guitar in transparent red its so cooli got it for 275 usd!!!!! on clearence perfect sound

  • Hey I have the same guitar in transparent red too and I need a hardshell case for it.

what case do you have? Thanks alot!

  • hey I got the same guitar but torquise! Terrific sound!

What gauge do you use on it?

    thanx!

  • I have the same guitar, colors and everything! It's great! Really pretty and sounds so deep.

  • do you understand how gorgeous of a guitar that is. ha. i just started guitar. and i listen to metal and heavy stuff. like job for a cowboy and megadeth... and still. i want an ibanez af more than anything. theyre so nice. youre lucky bud

  • dude its an amazing guitar

  • i could almost jack off to that... its beatiful

  • they're great guitars....mine is the same but mine is older and is 'duck-egg blue'

i love the colour of yours. it really shines in the light.

  • Hey this is great. I especially love the beginning. Can you please send me the chords for the first thing you play? Thanks.

  • just beautiful, specially the sound of the first part..nice and jazzy man ! got an artcore series as well, but i have the AK85 Violin finish...I was wondering what is the setup of your amplifier, in terms of its tone, volume, low/mid/high knobs?

  • I Got the same one just a different color :P

  • I just got an Artcore AF86VLS. For anyone who thinks they cant afford one, most guitar shops are giving them away for under $500.00 USD. I got mine for a little less than that. That kind of a price on book matched maple, mahogany, rosewood and beautiful inlay work alone make it a steal. Heck I would have figured the hardware had to be junk but it's good stuff. Bravo to Ibanez for selling quality for under $500.00!

  • YOU'RE AWESOME :D :D :D

  • I'm getting one in like a month sounds awesome :D

  • I thinking about buying one. do you reccomend it?

  • i definitely would

i have an ibanez artcore (not exactly the same as this one) and it is great, so im sure this one is too.

  • Beautiful guitar. great playing.

  • What kind of amp did you use man? You rock by the way.

  • Thanks! See earlier answers re. Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Cheers, Mojo.

  • Wow, I can only dream of such an instrument. I've got a 100 dollar guitar, it's a piece of poo. I don't care, though. I prefer to learn with shit then buy something nice when polished.

  • sweet guitar i have the same one but silver

  • i have the same guitar as you... silver and everything

  • great playing. how about some blues tuts? :)

  • I like the mood and your playing in the beginning. Would you choose this or an Epiphone Les Paul Studio?

  • What are you playin? I mean you will never get a LP to twang the way this thing will. So for Rockabilly you want his bad boy. If you are more straight rock? Then it is just up to you...

  • Blues/Jazz/Funk/Rock/Acoustic, I don't play anything like Metal or higher.

  • Well you can do a an Ovation or Carvin accoustic electric. Or for blues/funk/jazz I'd consider as73/93/103 line...semi hallow...less twang but a bit more oooomph...

  • nice blue finish

  • wat amp do you recomand me to use if i get this guiter??

  • just want to ask you, how much you bought this guitar??? i wanna get 1 also...

  • i like the style at 0:46

  • i like this one.

  • IM gettin one!

    yeah!!!! hell yeah

  • Congrats . . . . Hope you Enjoy it ! !

  • they are standard pickups and yes that is the real sound out of it you need a certain amp but i have a red one blue looks much better i see

  • urgh my one doesn't sound like that!

i think you should change your amp or use an FX pedal or something!

  • Are those the stock pickups? They sound great. Nice playing too.

  • Yes they are, i have same guitar (green) and sound really awesome

  • How many cost this guitar ?
