Allow lots of time for prep (scraping, pulling staples, sweeping) especially if it's a carpet with a glued down pad.
Lots of spare blades. (This material destroyed new jigsaw blades in 60 seconds.) Circular saws are better for laminates.
Get a helper. I'm alone in this clip; but it's much better to have a helper bring you the boards so you don't have to get up and down.
Practice. I've done over 10K sqft of different floors so far and I'm still learning.
